I got the idea from Bortzy, who told me he had the most "laughable" speed on Temp.

I'd like to know yours.

Users with fast connections have no need to apply, it's for the users with slow connections here only.
This is not an EOF thread, it's meant to be a serious thread, just like the "post your Internet speed" one.

That site doesn't seem to be all that reliable in terms of speed detection.

If you got a 30 MB connection, that doesn't mean you're downloading with 30 MB.
You'll have to devide it by 8 to get your real download speed iirc.

Besides, it's more reliable then speedtest.net for me.
Also less laggier and no billion adds in it as well.

The accuracy isn't too great. I get around 30Mbps (Which is 3.7MBps) via Speedtest. Real world results vary from 2.5 - 3.5 (Yes, megabytes not megabits)
According to the site you're using: I'm getting 117 kBps, which is very far from both real world and Speedtest.

Could be the distance your at.
I'm getting accurate speeds none the less.

OP thinks the service being used is better. Myself and another member have substantial reason to doubt it though, considering the results are inaccurate by a long measure.

The slowest I've used is 16kbps, that's the mode my 4G switches to after I've spent my monthly quota. Technically it's a nice gesture because it's free, practically it's not enough to even load the top-up page. :rofl2:
