Dynamic Designs have finally released Chaos Seed after about 5 years of work, it is an old SNES game by Neverland, a developer that went bankrupt about two years ago. Chaos Seed combines the hack and slash gameplay of old Zelda titles with the dungeon building and resource management from western PC games to make a unique game.

I've actually never heard of this game, but nice to see another JRPG from the Super Famicom era getting translated. Time for me to ~~obtain this~~, buy a copy from eBay or an Snes flashcart and play this

this game is fucked my save has vanished i went to load it today in snes9x and it says fucking empty all saves. i even tried loading a save state i took it just took me to the title screen! fuck this game DELETED.

what is dungeon building?

-edit, hmm ok i read a bit about it, it seems a bit complicated too enjoy for me, i think, maybe i will change my mind if i play it for a bit though.
i don't see why they didn't translated the sega saturn version, since it has better graphics etc? maybe there is a good reason, and i hope it isn't because snes is easier to emulate

Have you ever thought of using Snes9x Next in RetroArch Wii? I've never had a single issue with .srm or save states being deleted randomly. I've had that issue on Snes9x GX however. I know people give it a lot of flack because of the "inferior" GUI, but as far as stability goes, Snes9x Next is rock solid, never had it crash on me with a weird DSI exception/code dump.

They bankrupted last year ;o about 8 months ago.

And i'll try it, boredom never ends.

I can't blame you since I got confused too, but chances are that you didn't look hard enough.

When you save during recount time, the main game slot you saved in doesn't get overwritten; it's saved in a separate area., like you can see in the image above. The file you chose is only overwritten when you complete a scenario.

The voice samples for the SNES are still good, but that was actually gameplay from the Saturn version. That's kind of misleading though, sorry. >.<
