I pulled this out of Nintendo Maniac's sig
Devolution wifi logging for Windows Dummies!

Tried it just like this:

1.- Start Devo
2.- Mount USB
3.- Start program for dummies
4.- Select game
5.- Get black screen in my Wii for all of the infinity, no LED flashes and an empty log

Also tried switching those steps around too (like start devo and then the wifi logging right away) as well as trying your mod of Devo and... still nothing! Just out of curiosity, I tried my isos with Dolphin and they work. The only thing I recall doing that could MAYBE interfere with gamecube stuff is installing Dios Mios 2.10 recently.

Log created by CleanRip if anybody believes it could be my iso (sorry, only have the Mario Sunshine one, must have deleted the Metroid Prime one..)

I tried using both |32 and |34 arguments, but aside from the widescreen the direct mapping didn't work for me.
*facepalms hard*
Sorry, I see what I've been doing wrong now. If I'm right BOTH |32 and |34 ended up setting widescreen, AMIRITE?
(I had originally taken a shortcut on the plugin version based on the assumption that that config number would always be a single digit ... which has not been the case ever since the F-Zero AX patch option was added ... so both of those end up just seeing a "3" which is just WiFi Log and Widescreen turned on)
I'll get that fixed.

Sounds like it is waiting for the network connection to start.
What sort of connection is your wii set up to use? wifi/ethernet/nintendo usb wifi adapter?
If you do the same procedure with r197 does it produce a log file?

So I just recently found that this existed when I wanted to play games that have audio streaming problems in DIOS MIOS. I wonder why I didn't noticed about this in the past
Cant wait to try this!~

Someone give this one a try. The options are set in the plugin INI file so you'll have to use one of these instead of the included ones in order to set direct button mapping

anyone who tries, let me know.

EDIT : fixed

All my NGC games stopped working in both WiiFlow and normal Devolution once I copied those files into the Plugins folder...
O.O

None of them run now, I just get a black screen.

PLEASE HELP!
I'm getting desperate, none of my games is working now because of that plugin and I don't want to verify the games again since I lent some of them :(

So, if I understand right, normal Devolution (/apps/devolution/boot.dol) worked for you before but after running this, separate plugin (/wiiflow/plugins/devolution.dol) through WiiFlow, now neither of them work?
The only thing I can think of that would make a connection between them both is if the devolution you were using before was not the latest version (r200) because the verification file format changed with that version (which means you WOULD have to re-verify you games :( )

Did you try running all of your games from WiiFlow? Do the ones that you DIDN'T run through WiiFlow yet still work through normal Devolution?

If it is a problem with the verification process, the drive light on the Wii should be flashing when it's the black screen (this is not the case on a Wii U but previous versions couldn't run on Wii U so this wouldn't be the same problem.)

Any of the games that you still have the disk for and have already tried (and so are giving you the black screen) do they work (successfully re-verify) when you insert the disk while on that the black screen?

It is not a version issue since I've been using r200 since I verified all my games, and I've been playing all of them in my Wii U (so yeah it is r200).
All the games I had in the HDD worked in Wii U, so that leaves the problem with the main (first) verification out of the question.

I tried running one particular game in WiiFlow, black screen and tried that same one with regular Devolution, black screen.
I also tried running other games in WiiFlow and others in Devolution, no luck yet.

I haven't tried re-verifying them since that happened late at night yesterday, I will try to verify one again once I get back from work.

In regards to the "Step 5(Optional)" section of the readme file, it says that in order to sync up additional wii remotes, I should hold in the reset button while launching the game. When I launch Devolution, I mount my USB drive and it appears to detect my game, it says something like "disc ID:00000". Is this where I'm supposed to launch the game while holding reset? It seems the only option I have is to hit the "start" button which takes me back to my default loader. No other buttons respond while on this screen.

As it is, I can launch the game with Postloader using the builtin Devolution option. From there I can only use my GC controller.

I want to use my wii remotes w/classic controller instead but I can't get them to sync. I believe it's because I didn't sync them correctly the first time I verified my game. What are my options if any?

Hi!
Thank you for this software, it works well! I can run GC games on my Wii U, I just have a slight worry, I use an adapter to connect my official GC controller on my Wiimote and thus emulate a Classic Controller. However, oddly key are reversed: B = A, A = Y, Y = B, X = X. The other keys work ... Y t there a way to edit any file to configure this? Thank you for your help! Sincerely Zénome

Edit: In the Wii mode, The buttons are well set ^ ^

Try out this mod of Devolution for that
http://www.mediafire.com/download/kq5xxl5ktybiaem/gc-devo-mod2-200.zip
it has an options menu that let's you set "direct button mapping" which should fix your problem

WARNING: Be careful when copying or installing the Devolution r200 Mod2 by Maxternal.

Here are the problems I found:
1) You will have to verify ALL your games again. I tried all posible solutions, but I had to reverify all of them again.
2) The memory card Raw dump I had got corrupted and had to do another Dump.

Watch out for that mod, it has a lot of bugs.

Wait, you had that problem with the mod AND the WiiFlow plugin?
What did you do with your previous /apps/gc_devo folder? (because if you moved/removed/renamed it, THAT'S also where your verification files are so you were only meant to overwrite my version over the normal one or you would have also gotten rid of the verifications as well ...)

(... if you're lucky, though, and just renamed the folder you could always put those verification files back for those of your GC disks you don't have access to anymore.)

First it was just the plugin, then I downloaded the mod too just to see if that helped, but it didn't.
But did running the mod version remove the verifications that you JUST had to redo when you after installing the WiiFlow plugin?

Also curious, are your DVV files all still there for the games you lost the verification for? There should be one for each game in the /apps/gc_devo folder on the same drive where the ISO game file is.

The verifications were still there.
All I had was a black screen with the plugin, then tried the Mod and the same result. I had no other option but to redo all the verifications.

Now to get the lent games back for a 5 min verification :(
