Nah, really amazing because that's exactly what me & Benjay were inspired to do: a channel with Animation+styled text "Wiiflow"
wink.gif
so it's like a dream, i have the channel i wanted finally! simple & cute!

PS: Merci Oops, jiwah & co
yay.gif
En plus y'a la zik de l'un de mes dessins animés de jeunesse, "allez Estebald, on est presque arrivé enfin aux cites d'or (avec l'aigle d'or qui vole...si si!)

@ Speedy: thanks dude for the right wiiflowB2. It' ok now with wsr & so on...

@ Hibern: As your priority about Wiiflow loader is the Graphical aspect, i'd like to have a spinning circle/icon/image instead of the text "please wait...". Thanks!

wow nice channel, i know u guys put the credits on the channel but is it possible to have a clean 1?
I agree. It's a nice channel, and the creators deserve credit, but having the credits at the bottom detracts from the artistic design.

ok... Tanks, dsfanatic5. I was not sure I understood.

We respect your choice, but maybe everyone does not think like you. Jiiwah prepares his vacation. He cannot and doesn't want make other changes. Too much time spent on it (more than 100 tests were done
hate2.gif
).
But We will keep all your critical for the next channel.

However, if you really want to delete the credits. You can easily do yourself.

small tuto :
lecture.gif
[*]download and installe Wadder (maybe you should install "setuppad.exe" (if you do not have Microsoft Office) and/or FM20.exe (dll pack). remember to reboot your PC)[*]clic to "browse..." for open the wad.[*]type a name for the channel (Title/all languages) and choose an ID (Options). EX: WFMC (WiiFlow My Channel
laugh.gif
)[*]clic to "Create Wad"[*]replace one by one all these images by a one transparent (.png) with one white pixel : "Hibern", "Highjah_Oops", "Jiiwaah", "Music" and "Oops"[*]clic to continue and save your new channel.[*]enjoy, you are a new channel maker.

Edit: We are discussing with our graphic designer for a possible solution more... Artistic. but it will not for now.

Thank you for posting your small tutorial.

I was easily able to modify the wad as suggested and could alter your channel slightly to meet my own preferences. Very cool.

Thought that was a good compromise between wanting to maintain the credits and allowing users to have a choice, with a very slight bit of effort.

I may even look further into creating my own channel from scratch.

I didn't make myself clear. I don't care much about how it looks, i rather care about how it feels. I prefer working on quality, fixing the tiny frustrating details, rather than adding unnecessary features, like a disc popping out of the dvd box and flying into a wii's slot (which would actually be easy to do)
Anyway, your request is fine, i'll see what i can do about it.

im not sure how hard this would be to implement but would it be possible to have a way for wiiflow to recognize the disc in the drive and launch that as well as whatever is on the USB drive? i've been having to use mrkinator's rock band channel to launch RB and use DLC without getting errors, which means I haven't been using any usb loaders at all -- but yours is definitely my favorite!

Yes i got it
rolleyes.gif
! It's just to feel good after the forwarder has been launched, to be welcome by a very beautiful "waiting" message => video or gif animation instead of text over black screen hehe!

Thanks! We all appreciate your efforts dude to Take in account our suggestions

Channel
Name : Wiiflow StarNight Channel.wad
ID : WFJO
Forwarder :
  • SD:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol
  • USB:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol if nothing to SD (For a possible compatible version)
Blocks : 28

Hi there, i really like this loader and that's a great looking forwarder for it.
But if we have such a great forwarder, why do we still need a homebrew-channel entry?
So it would be great if you can change the sequence like that:
  • SD:/wiiflow/boot.dol
  • SD:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol
  • USB:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol if nothing to SD (For a possible compatible version)
And i respect all of your hard work, but i don't like the credits on the loader-screen too.

I've never been huge on Marvel (although I always loved their 'cosmic' characters and settings that seem to have vanished about 15 years ago), but Ultimates is utter garbage, so we're on the same page

@spayrosam

The reason I like, and respect your forwarder so much, is that it's true to the source from which it comes. Many forwarders I see (Like USB Loader GX) are well made, but don't reflect the loader itself. Instead of making a fancy forwarder that you could swap the text, and use for anything, you've gone out of your way to emulate the behaviour of the loader itself.

If/when Hibern releases an official version, I think this forwarder should be part of the package (if he agrees). Any luck on the music/sound yet?

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then

Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
