Hacking testers needed for new XCXGecko version

Ah, thanks for letting me know that there are people interested in, and potentially benefiting from, XCXGecko in the Spanish community *warm feeling* :D It appears that you may be using an outdated version of XCXGecko, since the most recent versions of config.ini use a numerical value for...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

All the codes work just fine with the restoration patch -- I've been using that patch since the very start. @secto15 @FatalRed yes, the offset is 42205184 (+0x2840000). In the "Global Address Offset" tab, enter "42205184" in the field labeled Code Offset, then press the button with the check...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Hehe you guys are too fast lol. Yes, the GUI should now work with my code offset, as long as you either: A- select your offset in the Offset toolbar dropdown B- if dropdown entries don't work, use 'Global Address Offset' tab (or Gecko.NET) to scan for the proper address, and then add it to the...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

My apologies -- there was a bug in my POKE logic where I added the offset twice, hehe. Fixed now.

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Seems like these codes might be from 5.5.1 OS w/ US version. Try scanning the range 4C3305A8-4C3305AC, or a bit broader, like 4C330000-4C340000

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Well that's a big bummer... I'm not willing to upgrade from 5.3.2 (maybe even more so now), so here are some possibilities that I can think of: a) it's stored elsewhere in memory? e.g. 0x01000000, ... (see http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Cafe_OS) b) it's not byte-aligned? validating this theory would...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

@ all: the offset address scan feature in #FEGecko is very primitive (I coded it up in less than 1h). This is probably why it fails when a large memory range (since it's asking pyGecko to return a single char array containing all the bytes in that range, as opposed to multiple smaller-sized...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Those address ranges were merely my guesses. I have a 5.3.2 US WiiU, with all regions of the game available, so if you have a compatible setup then let me know and I can try to find the address offset. However, I know that most people probably are on 5.5.1. In that case, ideally you should use...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Ah that's right, I added that check. Okay, first try these ranges: US/EU: 0x49AE0000 to 0x49B00000 JP: 0x4C200000 to 0x4C400000 If those don't work, try the following (wider) ranges: US/EU: 0x49000000 to 0x4A000000 JP: 0x4C000000 to 0x4D000000

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

You probably need to adjust the global address offset for all codes (see "Payload: [...]" dropdown at top of GUI + "Global Address Offset" tab). The default offset assumes WiiU OS 5.3.2, Loadiine v3, and US version of game. If you don't have this setup, then you will need to find the offset for...

Hacking #FEGecko: Trainer GUI for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Some of you may know XCXGecko. Well, I've begun some work towards a similar tool for #FE, called SFEGecko. You can get the latest release here (look for version number starting with sfe###, e.g. sfe0.2). Q: how to run this? A: please read through forum posts on XCXGecko Q: does this work with...

Hacking XCXGecko: Xenoblade Chronicles X trainer GUI using pyGecko

Feels good to have added this feature rather than just watching SGDQ lol. Weird about #FE; I've tested across multiple reboots. My setup is 5.3.2 + loadiine v3 + pygecko + US version. If you have US/EU version, try widening scan range to 49000000-4A000000 (initial scan will take longer...

Hacking XCXGecko: Xenoblade Chronicles X trainer GUI using pyGecko

Just added a very useful feature to github: be able to scan for the code offset live, using an interface very similar to Gecko dotNet or JGeckoU. Send me a PM if you find any bugs. But please don't PM me if you don't understand how to use it, or how to run the github python code; reply on this...

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

@MiZ J0K3R and here I thought I was gonna spend a rare day-off to find some codes for #FE, hehe. I suppose I can enjoy the game for now (just started), and maybe think about the possibility of a #FEGecko GUI :P Maybe. UPDATE: accessing 4C329468 on Gecko dotNet crashes the Wii U (DSI Error) :(...

Hacking testers needed for new XCXGecko version

Are you sure you scrolled down sufficiently? All names should show. Otherwise, did you modify codes.txt? auto I think you are referring to the difference in order between XCXGecko and in game. That's to be expected -- "Slots" in XCXGecko are ordered by their placement in memory addresses...
