Yes. You should be able to use eshop and online play. Even after jailbreaking. But you do have to keep in mind of what you can do, and what you can't do. Jailbreaking is like getting a superpower. There are things you can do that are okay, but some stuff may directly conflict with the online...
Oh nice, this will be extremely useful.
As a weird sidenote, theoretically, could this allow for the overwriting of contents onto an existing 3DS Cartridge with custom contents? Or is there a limitation with the algorithm the refresher uses?
Might be a bit better to ask here. Has anyone tried the analog stick code in a NDS Forwarder? I've tried it and it seems like the code doesn't want to work. It only slows the game down, even with the proper TwlBG patches. 🤔
Ah, interesting. Thanks for the heads up on that. Although, it seems like the SM64DS Analog Stick mod doesn't seem to work with the forwarders for some reason. I'm wondering if its because of not being able to communicate with the other processors properly or something. 🤔
Essentially, test it before you pad the files out.
If Crash, the game re-loaded the file, meaning you can swap it out mid-game! From there, you can just pad the files to the same size and it should work from there.
If no crash, then the game likely doesn't re-load the file.
I mean, it should work actually. Depending on if the game crashes.
If it crashes, then the game re-loads the file.
If it doesn't, then the game likely doesn't reload the file and the swap trick won't work.
Swapping a file mid-game will not work, at least most of the time, because atmosphere/the game allocates enough memory to load the file into ram. If you swap a file that is greater or smaller than the original file, then atmosphere will crash due to exceeding or falling short of the allocated...
