    Gaming NTR install

Pressing Power, then Home to exit, also helps cut down on crashes. Anyways, why not try the new Cheats function built into the Rosalina menu on Luma 9.1? I've found it to be much more stable. Looks for cheats in the "Cheats" folder on the root of your SD card. Example...

    Unofficial Hakchi2/Manual Hacking Thread

I try. I still think it's a mess tbh and plan on cleaning it up, yeah I suffer from OCD just a little lol I realized I left out a few tidbits I still need to include and have since updated the guide to fill in a few of those as well as clarify somethings.

Edit: PPlay beat me to it, so I've removed the repaired video. And again I would like to remind people that we have a new thread for discussion of unofficial Hakchi2 modding. https://gbatemp.net/threads/unofficial-hakchi2-manual-hacking-thread.485977/

    Unofficial Hakchi2/Manual Hacking Thread

If you're using "BRAC" or another custom build Hakchi2 then you don't need to FTP them over. FTP isn't risky, just transfers can fail if you're copying too much over at once (which can be fixed in the settings) and you'll have to transfer those failed transfers again. Set your concurrent...

    Unofficial Hakchi2/Manual Hacking Thread

DarkAkuma mentioned something today that I had already thought of, and it was that we really need a separate unofficial hakchi2/manual hacking thread. So as I was just about to post up my guide, I thought I'd start one, So full credit to him for the title :) Let's try and keep the other thread...

From my Redit Post: Figured I would release this here. Just something I wrote for myself and modified somewhat for public use. NO ROMS ARE INCLUDED! DO NOT ASK! This program will take any .sfc or .smc file, convert it to .sfrom using the Python script Valter released on GBATemp, and then give...

Hacking black screen on the first time of useing my flashcart?

Oh I read it many times, thank you. And I'm not someone that needs to worry about bricking a system, never have after 100's, but others less experienced should! It's just that I've purchased dozens of these cards and never had one come without a kernel, so it was a first time experience for me...

Hacking black screen on the first time of useing my flashcart?

Yes, it's there, but it's not clear enough in my opinion and clearly people are having issues. Think of it like a flow chart.. Ensure your flashcart is able to launch correctly before starting. Does it work? Yes > You're lucky. NO > Be sure to have any required kernel or firmware files...

It doesn't matter what you name it, .sfc or .smc as long as the name matches whats in the .bat if you're using that. I'll fix it to work with both later. It's based on the NAND Chip, Mine is the same as yours (5296e64818bf2d1dbdc6b594f3eefd17). There's more than 1 just like with the NES Classic.

I suppose if you haven't added Python to your system path you may need to do this. Yes, that's correct. Well technically it's not "converting" anything, just renaming the extension. Either way it does the trick :)

  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool
