Thanks. Managed to get it working with a 16gb, but now, it says there is no /switch folder at the root of the sd card, though it is there with the nro files.

Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

Ok, i was too quick.. I didn't see the option to add the exfat in the drivers until I started to update. After I rebooted, I got the nag for the update. I tried to reboot back to hekate, but it fails to load. I tried to put all the files (sdfiles, choixdujour,..) on a 4gb, but it doesn't load...

Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

Hi I'm on 5.1 at the moment. I try to upgrade to 6.0.1 but when lauching choixdujournx, I got an error 2144-0001. Any idea what to do ? I've updated the atmosphere folder. added the "fullsvcperm=1" to my hekate.ini file. I'm using sxos, is that the issue ?

I had the battery die while on RCM once. I plugged it to the wall, waited for about an hour and was able to restart it.

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Thanks guys. English is not my main language, and I misunderstood that part. Back to step 7 then. It shouldn't be much trouble now. :) It worked, and all is well now. Thanks for your help and support ! :)

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

I meant game files, not detected by the switch. I read the tutorial again. At step 7 when you say "Most people want the exFAT version of BCPKG2 images, if you don't, then add the --noexfat parameter to the commandline" is it that part that adds the exfat part to the firmware ? I understood...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

I'm really sorry Rajkosto. I've done a lot of reading, I've hacked my wii, my 3ds, and I'm doing my best here too.. I've read in other threads that to remove the update files you had to cancel the update that way. I don't think it has anything to do with common sense here.. If it makes sense for...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Thanks. So I need to go to the update menu, to initialise then cancel, and turn off, then back to rcm, and load a payload ? I still have the nag, and still not the exfat enabled.

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Back to it. I've re-read the whole thing, and found the marker savedata, deleted it. But I can't seem to enter the maintenance mode. If I hold + and -, hit the power button, hold + and -, it eventually boots into RCM. If I hold + and -, hold power button, it turns on, the screen stays black...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what I must do. Do i have to start back at step 7 of the tutorial to remake the patch files ?

Rajkosto said : because you didnt delete exfat marker savedata file mentioned in the guide ? do it now, then clear out the pending update by going to maintenance mode and powering off I don't understand the part about the exfat marker savedata.
