Wii Duplicated Channel Remover 1.1 (Multiregion version)

This application removes the duplicated channels installed after upgrading the Wii with a JAP or USA game.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: DON'T TRY TO UPDATE YOUR WII AFTER USE THIS APPLICATION. THE NEW IOS37 + UPDATED SYSTEM MENU CAN BRICK YOUR WII.

CURRENTLY this app doesn't remove the channels completely, it just hides them and avoids their recurrence (we need to wait for a newer version).

How to use:

Just run the application with Twilight Hack or burning the ISO. Then wait until it finishes. After that the Wii will restart automatically.

Also, the application will modify some data so these channels won't be installed anymore.

This is great news. Now to wait for/figure out how to make it work the other way around with US/JP Wii's. If it can be done with PAL, it should be able to work with others.

I already tested and it took out my Dupe channels

Waninkoko is the man! He is the one doing most of the Homebrew work on the Wii... He discovered Region Free with another guy, made so many programs, now working on a program better than Trucha

WHAT?!!!!!!!!!! I don't really know how could happen. The duplicated channels are independent channels and they don't have any relation with the real ones (even the title id is different).

Would it be possible to explain some of the technical details? I know it's easy enough to delete files/directories in the flash memory if you have sufficient knowledge, but I'm a little bit wary because of this:

Not for me. Just some dupe JP channels on my US Wii. But you could make it the same like you did with this PAL version, right? As in:

Version for US - Removes PAL/JP channels
Version for JP - Removes US/PAL channels
