It's a screen that was a result of a bug in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (US and Eurpoe versions). After play for 20 minutes or so you'd get a screen saying "Thank You For Playing" and it would restart the game(kind of like a demo). Both games, however, have patches out for them with most cards having full-on firmware updates to deal with the MoD screen in the US version so you can use a clean(aka unpatched and untrimmed) version of the ROM.

Maybe he doesn't want to look through 131 pages of repeated comments and complaints?
Moogles of Death (MoD) was the name given to the screen that PIRATES get when playing the American and European ROMs of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. The screen shows up about every 20minutes when you switch screens. Square Enix put this in as a 'pirate protection' so that pirates get annoyed making them buy the game to play it without the screen. However, SE underestimated the pirates' cheapness and of course, they were more willing to wait for a fix which was found and made a week or so later which stopped this screen from showing up. |

I believe it had to do with patching or something like that which flash carts like the R4 do automatically.
