thegame07 : I don't know if your post is a question but i explain because it can help other persons

:

To create a generic save like Supercard from an Action Replay save, I just delete the first 500 bytes which are created by ARDS.
To create an Action Replay save from another save, it's a bit harder. I just write a generic header (500 bytes) that I created from an Action Replay save. The converted savegame will appear in the Action replay software with informations like "Converted Savegame".

Ahh, is there no server-side app behind it? I didn't realise the save files were that basic?

You can do a lot of things in PHP like editing files

But you right, the difficulty is to understand how to convert a savegame in a X format to Y format

I did not mean to insinuate that it did, I just do not like java(script) and was remarking on how refreshing it is to not have a "this site needs java" pop up.

Small Update

I'm working on two version :

Savegame convertor online edition 1.0 final (new feature : autodetection of the format of the uploaded file)

And Savegame convertor 1.0 final which is the EXE version of this script (will be coded in C#)
