I think its safe to say that there are some long awaited games here. Its been a while but this week the DS line up looks better than the Wii. I'm sure some pisser will go into the thread and say "meh nothing for me", some people are never happy.


Please Read Before asking When A Game Will Be Dumped:
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes so not all can be trusted. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after.

Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.

Have patience and remember scene releases are not a right but a privilege.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

The first GBA game is the best of the series though if reviews are to believed, this one is better.

Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to begin inhaling everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Do the Mario Bros. have the guts to rescue Peach and escape?

* Players are in control of two separate storylines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle. Meanwhile, inside Bowser, the microbe-sized Mario & Luigi must muscle their way through challenges and keep their nerve if they want to find a way out. They take action to control Bowser from the inside – but without his knowledge
* Players can switch between storylines at will. What happens inside Bowser affects what he's doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario & Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot
* Players must make well-timed button presses to enhance their performance during battles and challenges. In some battles, Bowser grows so large that players must turn their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system sideways, blow into the microphone or tap on the touch screen with the stylus to keep up with the action
* The game features the same hilarious dialogue that has been the hallmark of the Mario & Luigi series

I can see The Sun headlines "Parents Up In Arms Over Mario Drug Use Plot". While I enjoyed the last DS game it had some things that peed me off a bit but it still had the humour and soem very good gameplay. This game is slightly different this time around as once you get inside Bowser it becomes more of a RPG platform game.

Bleach: The 3rd Phantom



My Wanted Level: None, it doesn't appeal to me one bit.

The 3rd DS game though its an RPG this time and not a fighter. Its also not handled by Treasure. If you want another Treasure Blach game then look out for Bleach Versus Crusade on the Wii.

Bleach: The 3rd Phantom marks the first time the series ventures into the Strategy RPG genre. A spinoff from the main narrative, this Bleach videogame features an exclusive storyline that has been created from the ground up while being supervised by Tite Kubo, the author and creator of Bleach. Shedding light on events that transpire before the animated series begins, players get to choose who they want to play as the story centers between two fraternal Soul Reaper twins, Fujimaru Kudo and his sister Matsuri Kudo.

With a cast of over fifty playable characters, players will discover a wide range of dynamic personalities as they journey through the game. With each character having their own unique skills and strengths, players will be able to adapt to any situation as they build an army of up to eight Soul Reapers. Multiplayer is also featured which allows up to two players to battle head-to-head via Wireless Mode.

Reviews so far have been meh so maybe one only for the fans.

The biggest DS title of the year? I'd say so. Biggest game of the year...maybe.

Scribblenauts goes by the concept, "Anything you write, you can use." The hero Maxwell has the power to utilize items in levels called Starites which allow him to later spawn material in the real world for his needs. Ladders, tools, weapons ... goldfish, even. If you can dream it, Maxwell can conjure it, and hopefully both of you can use it to solve your puzzles.

* Create Your Own Interactive Experience: Objects you write down in the game are only limited by your imagination
* Everyone Can Play: All-ages Ppick-up-and-play fun for everyone
* Touch-screen Controls: Easy to pick up and play on Nintendo DS. If you can tap, you can play
* Unlimited Replay Value: Use less objects to increase your score, or experiment with different objects for endless replay value. Write anything; solve everything
* Playground Mode: Play the entire game in a sandbox style right on the title screen

A game to last a very long time, even once you have finished it you'll go back to try new words that have popped into your head. One of those games that'll be unique to each player that plays it as there are so many waysto finish each level. Thank you 5th Level for creating a game to make me excited about DS gaming again. Hopefully people will buy this game as the developers deserve the sales and it'll show publishers that people want original games.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey

Its a shame that Nintendo cancelled DS Air, I enjoyed the DS release. I want this title to be good but...505 Games man, 505 Games.

IL-2: Sturmovik: Birds of Prey brings the hit flight game IL2-Sturmovik to Nintendo DS owners for the first time. The game includes large-scale aerial combat and ground based military operations from World War II. Players will participate in some of the war's most famous battles piloting fighters, battle planes and heavy bombers across a range of thrilling missions.

I really hope its good. IGN had a preview of it and they said it was fun, it controls very well and that its got an impressive engine. I wait with baited breath.

Burnout DS was totally shit right? Well this game looks better than that. This will be released as Sideswiped outside of Japan.

Buckle up! It's guaranteed to be a bumpy ride. Sideswiped is an all new arcade style racing game for the DS. Go city to city earning cash for causing destruction and mayhem to your opponents and anything that gets in your way. Race down the streets earning points by crashing into your opponents and causing the maximum amount of damage!

* Purchase up to 11 different vehicles, from sports cars, to a bulldozer, or the mother of them all: the Armored Truck.
* Race in 5 different locations from New York to Las Vegas, or battle demolition derby style in the Arena.
* Go for the high score by earning destructive combos that set off a chain of explosions while crashing into your opponents.
* Play 2-4 mulitplayer via wireless play or upload and check high scores using the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
* Experience a slew of different modes per location: Destruction, Crash Race, Time Attack, Normal Race, Bomb, and Bowling Event.

While this is a Japanese title, the menus will apparently be in English. This will be released by Majesco (who have lately rescue Gauntlet for the DS) and they'll be releasing it in the West though they haven't said when. Hopefully it'll be a good arcade racer for the DS. Famitsu gave it 29/40 but then they always seem to rate arcadey titles low.

Square Enix remakes yet another old game that wasn't that great and tarts it up for the DS. In the West they slapped they called it "Final Fantasy Legends II" simply so people would buy it.

The Final Fantasy Legend is now ready to be told again in this 3D remake of the 1991 Game Boy title. Enter a new world of RPG adventure, where the gods of the world have separated pieces of a mystical force known as Magi and hidden them throughout the lands. Choose a party of four heroes from humans, robots, and brand-new monsters, as they search the world for these powerful artifacts. Seek out a wide assortment of weaponry, combat skills, and magical attacks to augment the abilities of the humans and robots in your party. Weapons and armor realistically wear out over time and will need to be replaced, so keep a close eye on your party members.

Not sure if I care for another Square Enix RPG, kinda bored of them to be honest but I'm sure you people will lap it up.

I really don't understand the hype for Scribblenauts.....it doesn't look all that great to me.

If you ask me, Ninty is retarded for canceling DS Air. I guess it wasn't cutesy enough for them or they figure 5-12 year old kids (who they seem to cater to nowadays) wouldn't like it. Apparently they don't care about anyone else who may want games that are something other than kiddie-cutesy. OH! I know! They didn't want to bother setting up the online portion in America......they would actually have to DO SOMETHING for that to happen and that would take time away from all their piracy finger-pointing.
