Crocodingus In Cube Island: version 1.1

Story :

Crocodingus the crocodile is happily playing video games when he carelessly drops his "Sprite" drink onto his console's outlet. Unfortunately, the drink in the receptacle creates an electromagnetic distorsion, and Crocodingus gets snatched in the vortex and is sent in the pixel world.

The Game :

Crocodingus In Cube Island is a full 3D game that you can play on your Nintendo DS. You can move the crocodile with the stylus and strike monkeys with its tail!
You must help Crocodingus to finish the game.

This game is really well done, and pretty fun

buuuttttttt

When you die from falling over
sometimes it gets stuck
and loops you falling and you cant access pause to restart level

Really nice.

You've fixed a lot more of the issues from the previous release than I expected. The new level graphics, touchscreen speed control and crate pushing mechanics in particular are huge improvements.

Crocodingus doesn't fall in the water anymore, though. Well, I guess that change suits the new faster control method, but it's really makes the game a whole lot easier, too. Which makes the 10 levels seem even shorter now.

The new song is nice, too, but I liked the old one better. Why not have both in the game?

For me, Crocodingus and Video Games Hero are the two stand-out entries in the contest, especially with the new fixes in your game compared to the NeoFlash version. It's hard for me to decide which I like better (luckily, I don't have to, eh?). If it had more levels, I'd definitely like Crocodingus best, though, because as much fun as Video Games Hero is, Crocodingus just has a theme and style an originality that I find a lot more appealing.

just a suggestion: you should add an option to play as some of your sprites on your site like mario, bender etc.

Just tried it out! It was so well made! I had the impression that I was playing a commercially made game. Graphics were sweet, gameplay was smooth.

Absolutely brilliant

This is definitely one of my two favourite titles to come out of this competition (Element DS being the other one). Much love for the addition of speed-changing on the running controls, and the artwork is just perfect.

Just one question though: Crocodiles and... bananas?

For the sound, we wanted to have a new song because the old one comes from the first Crocodingus.
And yes, Crocodingus loves to eat bananas

(maybe because in my memory the crocodile in Zelda from Game boy eats bananas...)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me when ever i start the game I can only get to the home screen when I press start all I get is a black screen with music.
I am using a r4ds with Crocodingus.nds and Crocodingus.lvl in [/games/]. Any help would be very appreciated.
