I just think the rare blades could have been more story related either main or side story, not just random gamble situation. Is literally no satisfaction getting them other than throwing away a bunch of them to get it, and finding the high tier one like legendary is almost non existent. I wouldn't mind the random RNG situation so much if they didn't force you to save the game every time, i can just reload and try again but they didn't want people doing that it seems. It just feels kinda lazy this way.

Legendary cores never made any sense to me as I summoned 19 rare blades using rare cores alone. I'm guessing they only increase the chances of 4 star common blades again rare cores can do that aswell. I've heard ppl chucking away 700 legendary cores and still never got Kos-mos . The devs need to revamp some of their content so players know what affects anything

High lvl Unique monsters 60+ and pearl white treasure chests. I should note the drop rates are pretty low so you'll need blades with item drop % or a weapon chip that gives that effect

Not to worry, I'm lvl 81+ and yet not gotten one even beating the bigger enemies in the game. So I guess it's progression locked.

Legendary cores never made any sense to me as I summoned 19 rare blades using rare cores alone. I'm guessing they only increase the chances of 4 star common blades again rare cores can do that aswell. I've heard ppl chucking away 700 legendary cores and still never got Kos-mos . The devs need to revamp some of their content so players know what affects anything

Is just perhaps waiting for a update to come, I least would been thinking of having some of the facts displayed on screen, like

• chance of getting rare blade for each crystal core
• what rare blade would potentially come next
• what kind of generic common blade would you get (because there is more randomness with them such as male, female, brute, beast, weapon type, element type, and list of affinity skills)

I almost forgot the player's idea flow chart, truth, compassion, justice etc. plays a role in the blade development, but I ignored it so much i forgot what each one does anymore.

The one I farm for legendary cores is the hippo that you need to feed from Gormot. He lands me 15+ legendary cores per fight with launch smash combo( he has to be L99 and if you kill him sooner you can't get him back).

Luck and idea points don't help that much I only had 5 justice points and still got her with Morag If I had a guess on how I got her it's probably b/c I had so many common blades and the gacha can't give you blades of the same name [Rank 4 Merc btw]. Just another good example why so many theories are behind content instead of facts. And yeah I can see alot of ppl being upset not knowing they killed off a legendary core farm spot I'd be one of them if I had not actually looked it up myself

I was able to summon Kos-Mos. In the end I had 88 legendary cores and when I hit 70 using justice only 5 booster that did not work out that well started alternating between 1 and 2 justice boosters that worked out till I had 44 cores left and was able to summon her.

I did some salvaging to get enough justice boosters between summons and killing of the riff raff (gormott). Made some trinkets the ones which gave me justice boosters ...

They are scattered throughout the game in pearl white/gold chests locked behind high field skills and drop from lvl 60+ Unique monsters

I know that, but how do you actually obtain more when there is no more left? I found a ton of those chest and beaten many unique monsters, and done a lot of quest, I only ever got like maybe 15.

Theres always more of them you just have to keep fighting [Farming] the same Unique monsters over again perform blade combos that can force legendary cores and other items out of them by doing Topple, Break, Launch, and Smash. The cores themselves are more rarer than a rare core and require extra work to collect which is why I don't consider them relevant until your down to your last 2 rare blades. They have a low drop rate aswell so you need blades or weapon chips with Item % drop increase.

Hippo in Gormott is my steady source of legendary crystals you can also try reeking Douglas there are more unique monsters after you beaten the game couple of 100+. The hippo is the one you need to feed to get to L99 then you can kill him he is near the Ardanian base.

I did not have many legendary cores in total but the way to get them is with a party with gold chip so you get better ratio on dropped items and Adenine in your party for the extra drop change, break topple launch and smash to get the most items from the monsters you fight..

Each smash sets you up with items which can contain Legendary cores.....

I mean it has horns, hippos don't have horns. You can least describe the creature rather than comparing them with something else.

Then again, why can't people just use names, is the easiest way to identify things.

Anyway I'll be playing again when i get word on the next update patch. I already reached level 100, and done most of the merc missions, most of my after end game time was trying to do the rare blade missions which get a bit too tedious since it last like almost as long as the merc missions. O_O

I really hope they patch merc missions to complete without the game needing to be running the whole time. That kinda got be bored that I had to wait for my blade to come back sitting at the screen until is done rather than maybe play some other game and come back in 1 hour.
