if you read the functions names in the screen you posted you would be able to tell which commit from today caused it. it has nothing to do with the shaders.
When I saw your WiiU commit I updated straight away and then when it crashed I assumed (wrongly) that it was due to that.. My bad..

ploggy you can check the git build under Information > System Information (Git version)

That way it's easier narrow the build that introduced the bug.

It happens with all the cores?
I haven't loaded all the cores individually but it does crash loading the Channel and I did try loading the Snes9x Core through the Homebrew Launcher :)

I popped up January 11th mGBA core and started playing Super Mario Advance 4 with the voice removal and colour restoration patches.

Man that sweet effect menu is just so satisfying to watch xD
I thought I'd never see the light of the day in which I could have that menu in a Nintendo console, and since I only own Nintendo consoles, it's one of the first times experiencing the XMB menu in its full breathtaking view :P

Oh I know, the animated XMB menu, ribbon, etc, is very sleek and smooth, works like a charm :P Didn't know about the voice removal patch, gonna have to try it :D

^what's the point on the voice removal patch? the snes version is still better right?
Not if you take into account the 38 eReader levels, and the fact that you can play as both Luigi and Mario at any given time, and have the cape from SMW and boomerang powerup, special physics with Luigi, SMB2 veggies in the normal levels, etc.

SMA4 has without a doubt a LOT of extras in it which make it much more appealing and juicy for Mario veterans.

The only thing I don't like is the sound took a huge hit in quality. Snes to GBA sound is usually pretty bad.

That could be fixed with a Sound restoration.
Unfortunately, only Bregalad (the very creator of the tools to do so) seems to know how to do that sort of thing for GBA games.
I haven't seen anyone else being able to restore SNES OSTs to the GBA like he has done for the whole FF franchise in the GBA and the Breath of Fire games:

If at all, the Mario games in the GBA should be easier, due to having way less music tracks per game compared to RPGs of that calibre.

Now to go more in topic, @ploggy, are you still getting the crash from yesterday?
I only played mGBA yesterday, and I went back to individual apps for each core instead of a main one, so I can't be of much help due to my setup, but I do plan on going back to the main RA app.

Hey guys how can I change the aspect ratio to fit into handheld borders? The presets don't fit and I found somewhere that you have to put the aspect ratio to custom and then e.g 4x4 for gameboy but custom ist no option in retroarch wii u

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show.
