That's pretty weird... some malfunction in your buttons maybe (maybe they get detected twice?). You can try one thing that's normally not recommended. Simpl pull the SD card out. Don't do any writing operations before that (and also not while you're taking the SD out, of course). What happens if you try that?
I was in the middle of @TheCyberQuake's NTRPack and it froze after taking the SD card out (after the copy ntrboot script), so I hard reset, but after running copy ntrboot again the paste script wouldn't work, so gave up on pasting to the original SD. So I'm not being held up or anything just wondering if maybe you could tell by the behaviour what was happening. I'll test another day if both the R and B buttons are working

Does anyone know why I can't unmount my SD card? R+A works but not R+B

You appear not to be having any problem in the video...press R+B once, the [0:] Drive will disappear, and then you can take out your SD. It's hard to tell exactly what the problem is because you're spamming it.
Also, it looks like you're pressing B+R, perhaps that's part of the problem?

Edit: come on, why didn't d0k3's posts show up? My phone is starting to bug out.

Every time I take out the SD though it warns me that I should unmount it first. I'll try again and make sure to take it out when the 0 drive is not there.

Okay, I got an idea... You know that you can only unmount the SD card in the root directory? Did you try from somewhere else? A defective SD card or SD card reader is a possibility, too, of course.

1. If I mount a NAND dump with godmode9, which contains the essential.exefs, where exactly is it located (path? (mounted NAND not the sysNAND))?
2. How do I extract the essential.exefs in OTP, SecureInfo,...?

Mount backup -> go to [I:] IMGNAND VIRTUAL -> in there, unless the backup doesn't have an essentials.exefs. You can find the one in your NAND right now in [S:]

Press A on essentials.exefs -> mount to drive.
You can also check the SHA of the entire file to check differences, A on essentials.exefs, select Calculate SHA-256

Oh that was really easy. If I had known how simple those things are, I would not have taken your time. Thank you very much!

I don't think you can do that. Just copy all the data to a computer and paste it back afterward.

If I want to remove the essentials.exefs from the virtual drive, it says it is not allowed to do so. How can I delete it. It is just for testing reasons, even if I know that these files are usefull. How can I delete it?

You can't delete files from a virtual drive. You should ask d0k3, he'd know. But there is absolutely no reason to remove an essentials.exefs file--even for 'testing purposes.'
