Thank you so much for all the excellent work you've put into making this! Never would've played the game otherwise. Looking forward to the DLC update. :)

Not sure if this helps, but my friend who was testing my spouse's game started having some Arm11 errors on their save, and they figured out some things.

- The farm arm11 error seems to be triggered by having too many items on the farm. Removing them seems to make error go away.
- Some of the "Choose a person" festivals seem to freeze (no arm9/11 error, just freeze) if you talk to someone post-festival. Easy enough to work around, just don't talk to people and leave. But figured it was worth mentioning.
- In Westown's romantic festival, the game locks up no matter what right before the 'choose a person' part. i'd imagine this is due to the event being expanded upon from the DLC. You need to disable the patch to participate.
- Star Festival - game froze as soon as you talked to someone after the event is over, text box popped up, but hung before any text appeared, participated with a same gender person.
- Spirit Festival - Same thing with star festival, did not dance with a marriage option at all, just a normal villager.
- Starlight Gala: Game locked up before even getting to the 'choose who you want to go with' screen. Music continued to play but game just hung.

This definitely helps, but I'm not sure why having too many items in your farm is crashing the game. Do you know exactly how many items your spouse had so I can try and replicate the crash outside of their save?

This patch is just for USA version? I want to play it in EUR version, im from Spain, obviously i can´t play it in Spanish if i want to play The True Love Edition, but if at least i can play this patch in EUR version but in english it would be very cool ^-^
The current version of the hack doesn't support it yet, but if you don't want to wait you can just download the files I attached to this post.

It includes the english edits, but if you'd rather play without those you can delete the "script" folder in the "cmn" folder, and the spanish text will show instead. Honestly, I'd recommend you play without the edits, because it may not make much sense depending how much was changed during the translation.

Oh, thanks a lot!!
But now, what should i do to instal this files? The same?
If you're using luma then yes! If you're using ntr, you'll have to wait a little longer, or switch to luma. I still need to make a plugin file for the eur version so ntr can run the patch.

Any update?
Progress has been slow, but I'm definitely getting things done. I still have to fix a few scripts, but I have finished editing the dialogue.

Here's a little preview:

I'm sorry to everyone waiting for taking so long! Hopefully this update will be the last one outside of bug fixes.

Can someone edit JP ver1.4 ConstData.xbb with US ver1.1 ConstData.xbb put hamtaro in?

here is ConstData:
https://mega.nz/#!OccxFL4Y!ESIbiqWSQZYdg0Cav7u-e354DDbEv7bpwNyNRqtTZtE

He was already in the ConstData for the update. The devs got lazy and just copy-pasted the one from the JP 1.4 update. What wasn't in the 1.1 update was his 3D model and cutscene scripts. Go check out my post if you haven't already, I've already ported my Hamtaro patch to the 1.1 update and also included Cheburashka.

@Silrae, I have to say, you've done a fantastic job with this. I tried doing a project like this myself, and it ended up being a very, very large commitment. I'm very happy to see someone get so far in a project like this.

Anyway, I wanted to offer help if you needed it. I'm very familiar with the layout of the game, so let me know if there's anything you need help with. I'd also love to work with you to make my Hamtaro and Cheburashka patch compatible with yours.

Thank you! It's been a long and tedious journey, but it won't be too long until everything's finished. Thanks for offering to help, but I'm alright for now. I'll be sure to message you if I need an extra hand in the future!

It should be easy to make both our patches compatible, I actually did it before with your older patch because I got a lot of requests for it. I took a look at your patch and there's only three conflicting files: Msg.xbb, ConstData.xbb, and TitleUpper.arc. I can edit them to be compatible with mine like I did before.

Also, I noticed the Msg.xbb file in your patch had a papa file added to the end of it. Do you mind me asking how you managed to do that? Did you use a certain program to edit the xbb?

Sort of. Karameru, which is in the Kuriimu toolkit, can open xbb's (though I did write my own tool for it a few years ago... but that's neither here nor there). It's a bit trickier than that though, since no one knows how to add/remove files from an xbb. I'll PM you the details.

I was reading back a bit, and I'm curious: can I use the USA Patch with PAL Region game or do I need to specifically download the patch meant for the EUR version?

Also: when you feel "finished" with the primary patch, do you think you'll make a full EUR version, because if so, I'll probably just keep lurking until you've had time to work on something like that.

Aside from that, thank you for working on this. I really love the wedding attire recolours too. They're quite cute.

I'm not sure if the versions are actually different. Why don't you try downloading the temporary EUR patch and let me know how it goes? If it doesn't work, I'll look into it!

I'm planning to include the temporary patch in the next update, but I can't really make a full version without having the help of translators. The best I could offer is an option to play with some edited events and overworld dialogue in english.

It's been awhile huh? XD I have a question regarding the dlc. Through lots of troubleshooting and probably way more effort than was necessary if I'd paid more attention, I've gotten cheats and the TLE patch working with the 1.1 update and the dlc. Out of curiosity, would TLE still work with the extra events added through the dlc, just without the correct gender pronouns added through TLE (ie if you're married to one of the bachelorettes the game would use masculine pronouns to refer to the player)?

Also, super happy to see that you're doing well Silrae. :> I have to thank you for adding those codes to that one cheat thread since the ones you helped with were the ones I wanted most. >w>

oAo Uhm none that haven't already been added to that thread? I mean I can upload my txt file if you need it, but all the codes I've gotten are from other people on that thread.

Really appreciate all the work you and everyone else have done with the cheats by the way. ; w ; Lil noobie me likes to have all the costumes unlocked and have a nice boost to fp for everyone.

Ahaha, trust me I wish I could help! ;3; The only experience I have with cheats is editing an FP one for Animal Parade. Sorry to get your hopes up, I read that entire thread (literally every single page) so I've seen the struggle you and everyone have been enduring with regards to getting the cheats compiled. You guys are awesome for all of that work.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
