Gaming Transfer Game content from one switch to another switch

I have 2 switches, one on FW 4.1 and the other on FW 3.01. For the game Skyrim I downloaded the language file on the device with FW 4.1 from the Nintendo eShop.
Now my question: Is it possible to transfer this language file to the device with FW 3.01? I do not want to update the FW of this device. Thanks in advance.

This is one of the things Nintendo is behind the times on. As far as I know you can't do any sort of Switch transfer at all.

My bad. Everyone is reading websites and correct info and I'm just sitting here spreading mis-information. I could have sworn that Nintendo said from the get go that no system transfer or anything was going to be available. Thanks!

That wont help him. Cloud saves are just that , saves. they are not update or dlc packs.
I thought that 4.0 firmware lets a user transfer information from one account to a different switch.
Still dont help him as hes have to update to use it.

Cloud saves are the only thing stopping Nintendo from allowing you to transfer your account to a new Switch without having both in front of you. Updates and DLC packs can be redownloaded from the eShop
