Well good for you, is okay if you want to, Personally i think is nice to have a fully custom character in the game even though some may not use it.
Just remember that those mods aren't the only thing to make her better, her affinity chart is just as important, trust me, you will notice a huge difference when it starts to grow. Also getting better weapons and accessories as well as item pouches help a lot more.
Well I never downplayed poppi's purpose, or her abilities. I just said it can be a bit overbearing and tedious to acquire the stuff needed to make her better. Of course That customization options are okay but is all TORA HAS!Little fella got some amazing options

Best to just make a team of people you really find the best style of play. The only problem with team building is that everyone has a default Blade that you probably won't try to remove. I mean there isn't even a way to remove Pyra/Mithra from Rex, so he always have one Attack type blade, Rex cannot have a team of 3 Healer, or Tank Blades if the player desire. It might change, apparently in new patches, those exclusive blades will be able to go to merc missions. I find it a bit weird one of them requires Light elemental, and I have no light blades except Mythra who I have to have all the time. Now excuse me while I try to fight a level 130 Titan monster.
Yes, i've got 12 and most are from common and special core (only legend i've got didn't went well...)Is it normal for me to get a five star (Puren) with common core in chapter 3?
There is a trick where you stack luck through items and bitball users equipped with amethyst gems for +50 luck where you get over 800+ luck when using 3 of them on a non Rex character (past chapter 7 you are allowed to swap top position blade to a lower spot and have Rex use it freeing up 3 slots with bitball users with the luck modifier (if you are low on them any luck modifier blade will work but the chip wont the +50 Luck is what you need and that will only work with bitball)
At L81 I got almost 900 luck with 3 bitball but the modifier are quite low they can go up to 20%.
Anyone else take like 2 or 3 hours just to do the abandoned factory part in chapter 4 lol?

Seems there is a way to get other then bitball blades the extra luck :
Games don't even include manuals anymore even if you want a official one.It saddens me that a strat guide doesn't exist for this title. End of an era.
Thanks for all the tips in this topic post [=
Is still rather poor to have this all randomized as if they couldn't construct enough in game sidequest events to obtain them or something. There is some you get from the actual ingame story events like Roc, Vess, Praxis & Theory, then like others was just opening core crystals like a lootbox system without actual money. Why couldn't more be like them, and then even after you get one of them they have their own side quest. They can construct side quest for all the rare blades after you obtain them, but not to obtain them. Most of the time you don't get the use them cause you send them on those merc missions cause some of the require specific skills only one possess and takes so long. up to 3 in game hours. (It be better if you didn't have to have the game running like most of those mobile games but you do in this case cause unlike those games, this one doesn't run in online server. Still could least made it based on how much time has passed since the game was last loaded or something like the system clock)
The worst part is the game forces you to save every time you use one so you can't reload to get a better outcome, so you waste plenty of time opening them and even then finding the rare/legendary ones are next to impossible than the common one. For a RPG, auto save is just not something people should put in their games unless is temporary like most mobile games or breath of the wild, where it saves like every 10 mins for "CHECKPOINT" reasons.
Can't but I can tell you that running from abandoned excavation and doing those quests along the way should get you there it is the part where you go from indoors to outdoor stairs and some of it is pretty complex to get there (when you are doing it the first time). Can anyone please provide a screenshot of where Ruined Laborers’ Bridge at Mor Ardain is?
Googling it hasn't helped I still can't find it

Well perhaps true, the game can be beaten without intentionally obtaining the rare blades, using only generic ones, but the field spells are mostly why people even care about the rare blades, that and IT'S RARE BLADES! Obviously the player is gonna aim to get those cause is something more precious. I know some aren't bothered by it being a random rng situation but it doesn't help that the game forces you to save every time you use one. The thing is that players would probably aim to get them and find it disappointing how is obtained, that basically my thought the whole time, is not the same satisfaction as fighting high level enemies for 30 mins and winning, or discovering some wacky combination of power ups to break the game in the player's favor, is more of just considering why they decided on this way when as stated some rare blades like praxis, theory, and rock, wulfric and sheba are gotten through a actual side quest, when even after you get the rare blade, has their own specific side quest that requires the use of them including merc missions. The game has a grinding mechanic. So far I have Nia and Zeke both having enough luck to summon Nia has 10 10 9 9 points. Still gets better doing this with legendary crystals but hardly something I find problematic. In the end the blades don't make the game you can do stuff fine without the extra rare blades like Kos mos .

Not saying the common generic blades are bad but just pointing out that the player's tendency to go after rare blades because it is what it is. If you play final fantasy, and you find treasure chest in a dungeon, you are most likely 100% gonna open it with out second thought even if it could be a trap or a fake mimic.I know but some blades can be more useful then you think the 4 (up to) star normal ones can have super high stat modifiers seen some 23% ones even if you can't get those from rare blades there are some builds with people using those as well in combination with a rare blade but not exclusively all rare blades.
Kos-Mos from Xenosaga is light element [Ether canon] but it will take a miracle to get her from the gacha took me about 375 rare cores to get herNot saying the common generic blades are bad but just pointing out that the player's tendency to go after rare blades because it is what it is. Just pointing out obvious stuff, also why is mythra the only blade with a Light element? Never have i encountered anyone else who has it, so doing blade combos with light can be a bit challenge when only one blade has it if you don't have good setup. Only her and the 3 forms of poppi can use light element.
Well then is just one more rare blade that is light, which out of the rest of them that aren't, is even worst that most blades don't even have the proper elemental mastery field skill either.Kos-Mos from Xenosaga is light element [Ether canon] but it will take a miracle to get her from the gacha took me about 375 rare cores to get her
Yeah we definitely need more light blades I just hope and pray they don't throw them in the gacha pool within the expansion pass something tells me they wont since we are most likely to get more Quests addedWell then is just one more rare blade that is light, which out of the rest of them that aren't, is even worst that most blades don't even have the proper elemental mastery field skill either.
I just think the rare blades could have been more story related either main or side story, not just random gamble situation. Is literally no satisfaction getting them other than throwing away a bunch of them to get it, and finding the high tier one like legendary is almost non existent. I wouldn't mind the random RNG situation so much if they didn't force you to save the game every time, i can just reload and try again but they didn't want people doing that it seems. It just feels kinda lazy this way.Yeah we definitely need more light blades I just hope and pray they don't throw them in the gacha pool within the expansion pass something tells me they wont since we are most likely to get more Quests added
