OCDM - Mario Maker 3DS course manager

OCDM stands for Online Course Database Manager

Features*:
  • import and export courses, both** 3DS and WiiU
  • cryptofix saves (if the game marked your save as "corrupted")
    • Note: this will overwrite the LockoutID in your courses, not in the save file, so please be fair and don't reupload others' courses :)
  • make/apply save snapshots (exports all files which are used in the save)
    • Note: please format your save data before restoring your save otherwise the game could mark your save as "corrupted", and this one is not cryptofixable
  • browse SMMDB
    • download courses
    • discontinued

*: these features are in the latest build at the time of editing this post, so functionality in the public build could differ
**: due to differences in the 3DS and the WiiU version, importing a converted course file on a foreign platform could crash the game on loading the course

well... you could just use CTRX/CTRXplorer to delete the directory ;P

The user ipkpjersi uploaded about 2,500 of his personal favorite levels.

It would be very difficult managing them with CTRXplorer.

Anyway, here's levels 37-39, the rest of Psycrow's uploads.

I couldn't add all 39 of them at once because the file size slightly went over 2 megs.

I've been playing many of these today, and they are all absolutely fantastic.

I want to import Psycrow's levels, but the way the GUI is right now, it's a pain importing a lot of levels at once, especially since I've lost my stylus and have to use my finger to navigate the directories, and I have a chance of either selecting the wrong file, or tapping the file I want to import not doing anything.

I know this GUI is worse than a console interface, I'm already working on the rewrite, just chill >_>

Anyone know why, when I replace the course_data files on a Wii U course file with an exported 3DS course, the imported courses delete and say they're corrupted?

And is there a working way to import courses from 3DS to the Wii U?

I think atm you need to do some hex editing. Not sure what. I got the same issue a while ago.

I'll look into it, it's probably some ancient code that has never been edited since it was created

Is it at all possible to capture and save a level that is currently being played in the 100 Man Challenge?

I would assume that you would most likely need to quit out of the game before completing the course to do this.

I never upload things to Dropbox, I did not upload that

So we "just" need a tool to extract levels from ram dumps, right?

you need to dump RAM first, find where the level in memory is, and convert it to an usable format which is not an easy job

He probably didn't upload it to titledb, since usually anybody can upload other cias for people to download. Normally I would say don't worry, but ocdm does have a malware version. To be safe, just use the cia on github.
