I have a few questions if anyone can help...

So I've installed Henkaku Enso on my vita. Everything's working fine.

Questions:

Easy ones first...

- Question 1: I've installed VitaShell, is it safe to then uninstall molecularShell? < Yes.
- Question 2: Is it safe to uninstall the enso bubble? If the bubble is uninstalled will henkaku enso continue to function without it? < Yes, but I'd recommend keeping it just in case.
- Question 3: My google-fu skills aren't what they used to be. Are there any plugins to increase the amount of pages you can have on the bubble screen? < Not that I'm aware of. The Vita has a limit of 500 total using folders, so I'll find it hard to believe you'll hit that limit.

So I've been wanting to move some 'main' apps to ur0 so when I switch memory cards some things are still persistent. I've used 'App Plus Manager', and so far VitaShell, mGBA and a few other things work fine.
I'm having an issue with moving Adrenaline however. This is my process:
- Move Adrenaline to ur0 with 'App Plus Manager', works fine, verified ur0:app/PSPEMUCFW still exists. PSPEMUCFW still contains 661.PBP, sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx, etc.
- Modified ur0:tai/config.txt to load ur0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx under the *KERNEL heading
- Remove ux0:tai/config.txt as it's no longer needed (everything inside moved to ur0:tai/config.txt)
- Reboot

So I got to this point, and when I go and launch Adrenaline, I get the message "The 6.61 firmware has not been installed yet and 661.PBP does not exist. Press X to download the PSP 6.61 firmware.". Now I thought this strange, but I just pressed X. Nothing happened and Adrenaline closes. Re-opened Adrenaline and the message still appears.

So right now, I'm stuck in this loop of Adrenaline not seeing 661.PBP (which exists at ur0:app/PSPEMUCFW/661.PBP) and failing to download/install it.

- Basically Question 4 is, any ideas on getting Adrenaline 6 working from ur0?

Thanks for your time!
Adrenaline itself cannot run from ur0. You can store ISOs on ur0 and uma0, but you can't run the game itself from there. This is because the pspemu basically functions entirely from ux0/pspemu, which obviously isn't in ur0.

The rest of your questions are answered in bold in the quote.

I'm more after the ability to use pages instead of folders so I can customise the background. The folder bubbles are honestly just ugly!

Welp, re Adrenaline: that sucks. Oh well, looks like one app is staying on ux0 then!

Thanks again!

1 - I'd recommend you keep it, although, iirc, HENkaku Settings no longer rely on molecularShell. I mean, it doesn't hurt to keep it either way.
2 - Yes, you can.
3 - Am not aware of any such plugin.

As for 4, that's something I've never tested, I wouldn't know.

I have Henhaku on my pvita 3.60 and I want to play "Akiba's beat", but the problem is that it won't allow me to play it because it won't bypass firmware that I set it to hoax around 3.65 and I still get an error of it. Is there a solution to fix it?

No. Games signed with 3.63+ keys cannot be played on 3.60 period.

But i hear some games for 3.61+ was changed to use in 3.60 like Steins:Gate 0
You heard wrong. Steins Gate had a JP released that doesn't require 3.61, the patch you're referring to was just a translation using assets from the 3.61 version. This DOES NOT make 3.61+ games playable, you're still using a base game that only required 3.60.

Oh, thank you for the explanation. I believe we can use games in 3.61 changing some file or something =_='', my bad.

Okay, maybe I should get a 2nd vita as a legit account then. I have the phat version, but not the slim one. I'll probably get that then. Thank you!

Hey,

I noticed today that when I start Chrono Cross with Adrenaline that the movement control happens with the D-Pad instead of the Analog Stick.

Is there some way to remap this within Adrenaline or with a certain Plugin maybe ?

You just use Sony's built-in control mapper. Hold down the PS button until a settings page opens, there should be an option called "Controller Settings" (or something similar to that). From there you can set the left analogue stick to act as D-pad.

Incorrect. Adrenaline is not a game, it is PSP custom firmware/emulator and can be run from ur0: You have 3 options, let me explain:
ur0: - this is internal "storage" that every model of vita has, but it's not really storage that you can use--it's mainly for system files. You can, however, put Adrenaline (/APP/PSPEMUCFW) on ur0:
ux0: - by default this is your mem card. If you are using sd2vita you typically mount it here instead of your vita mem card, but you have options. Vita games can ONLY be run from here.
uma0: - Let's say you have sd2vita, but you also want to use your vita mem card. If your sd2vita is mounted to ux0: then your vita mem card is mounted here. You can mount them in reverse as well, but it's not really recommended because vita games MUST run from ux0: and they are the larger games. You CAN put PSP & PSOne Classics (games installed to /pspemu/) here, as well as roms for your emulators.

TL;DR - Assuming you have sd2vita and a vita mem card, the best setup to maximize use of all your available storage is
1. Adrenaline on ur0:
2. Vita games on ux0:
3. PSP games/PSOne Classics/roms, etc. on uma0:

This is how I have my vita setup and everything works fine. The benefit is that Adrenaline is running internally with the rest of your system software, so it's there regardless of what memory cards/sd cards you have inserted. (also a good idea to have VitaShell installed on ur0: in case of emergency for this same reason.)

I suggest you check when that was posted, friend. ;) That was in 2017, when you could not install and run Adrenaline from ur0. You could, at the time, load ISOs off of ur0, but you couldn't install it there.

It is, of course, totally possible to do so now.

I don't know why you would ever want to store ISOs in ur0: at any point in time.

Eh, free extra 2.5gb of space for OLEDs/1.5gb for slims, useful for people who might've had small memory cards at the time and no SD2Vita. It was a requested feature, enough so presumably that TheFlow decided to support it.
