Can I install tickets to DLC (Wii Sports Club and Tank!Tank!Tank!), and CFW-only games (like Art of Balance and Bomberman 64), so I don't have to run Mocha all the time.

You can't, tickets are only valid if you bought them. You will need cfw to install and run anything eshop related.

So this would work on OFW, it would install to HDD and you could copy over or install to internal? or would you have to boot some cfw or some shit?

The only exception is if you can get a legit ticket from eShop without buying the game (free DLC, like Mario kart free cars, or Zelda's language pack, etc.)

You need to install the game, update (and DLC if any) with the fake ticket, then install the free DLC.
you can then manually edit the ticket file which contains both the good data and the bad data inside the file, you need to put the good one at the top of the file.

The process is explained on two threads on this forum. the most recent one is here :

I have Breath of the Wild on disc and my Wii U is currently programmed not to download updates over the internet. If I download and install the updates and DLC from the program into my NAND, will they work on my copy of the game?

the update : yes
the DLC : only if you have a custom firmware, unless you follow the tutorial I linked right above your message.

if you have a CFW, don't bother following the tutorial, just install the update and DLC.

I think yes.
I saw a SSBB tutorial, I'm sure it's the same with all games having legit free DLC (xenoblades language pack, etc.)

Though, xenoblade I never needed CFW at all.
the DLC are all free, so they comes with legit ticket you can install with WUP installer.

if you didn't install mario kart DLC yet, maybe start with the free DLC to get the legit ticket that you backup, install other DLC and put the legit at the top.
or maybe the website is still working fine, and doing the ticket reordering for you.

This procedure can trigger a nice bugwhere you are unable to reinstall in case you buy it.

you can't reinstall if you have a fake ticket in general, nothing to do with this procedure.
you need to manually delete the ticket for the game you want to buy.
legit tickets will be recreated at eShop connection, non legit ticket will not conflict anymore as they stay deleted.

Thanks Cyan for all your advice in this thread.

If I use a USB version of Zelda, will I overwrite my saved games from my disc version of Zelda?

Or, adding to the same question, I have a used console - will I notice anything by installing on USB games that the same NNID previously played on disc?

Also I own a few games on eshop but is there a brick risk from installing those games through USB.

the savegames from games played on disc are stored on the console (not on USB).

the savegames for installed games are located on the same location than the game :
if you install the game on the console, it will read/write the savegame on the console.
f you install the game on the USB, it will read/write the savegame on the USB.

if you played from disc first, and want to install the game to USB, you first need to move the save data (savegame, update and dlc) to USB before installing the game to USB.
if you don't move the data first, the game will not try to load the savegame from the console and will act as if you don't have a savegame at all (not found on USB).

it's explained on the first post.

Or, adding to the same question, I have a used console - will I notice anything by installing on USB games that the same NNID previously played on disc?

there's no problem installing game previously played on disc.
in fact, if you install a "game existing as disc" there's a very high chance that you are installing the disc version of the game.
both disc and installed version will be identical, no issue or conflict. nintendo can't even know you did it.

If it's a eshop game, you'll need CFW, because the installed game will not match the current console/account/NNID, the cfw allows you to do it.

no brick risk to USB. at worse, you lose your USB content.
installing to console is risky, same risk as downloading a game from eshop : power cut, system failure, etc.

Hi there, a little question.

I am loading games with loadine from sd card but I am looking for a bigger storage of 1tb usb hd. My wiiu is 5.5.2, so Am i able to install games on the usb hd drive following the same process of the 5.5.1 tutorials I find on the internet? Or there is a specific process for 5.5.2?

There is risk to brik the console doing that?

Would a 1 tb or 2 tb hard disk work fine whit that?

To install on USB you can't use Loadiine, as it's only able to load from SD card. The process is basically the same on 5.5.2.
You have 2 options:
1. You can install a small selection of games that were released both on eShop and physically (with a few minor exceptions), risk of brick is null
2. You can install a 'CFW' which will allow you to install any game you want

Thanks a lot :) I'll do it.

I've used utikdownloadhelper . it's pretty much the same as any other downloading app. you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Hi guys. I know that Wii U games can be installed to USB/HDD, but what about original Wii games? Can Wii games be installed as channels or something on the Virtual Wii side? If yes, can I still use cheats with them? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated :)
