Thanks, do you have a link to one? One that works as a normal DS flashcart right away (not one of the switch ones) and is also very compatible with ntrboot (backup firmware is available and easy to find etc)?

I don't see why not the switch ones. They cost usually the same amount as their non-switch alternatives and give the easier ntrboot experience and if used as normal ds flashcard they don't need to worry about the switch.

You can try deleting everything else than Nintendo 3ds folder, boot.firm and the Luma folder. If that doesn't help you can do this https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup and run tikshop to try get your games and Homebrew back

sorry for the late response but I did this but nothing worked. I even trying formatting my card different ways and using a new card and it still says that it doesn't detect a card. How do I run tikshop?

It's okay with me if I lose all my games and everything. I just want to be able to use the freeshop again. Can I do that?

I tried to update my 3ds from a9lh to b9s and I followed every single step on 3ds.guide but when I go to the point where I should reinsert my sd card to my 3ds and press start to get to SafeB9SInstaller I just get godmode9 (found out later that I allready had b9s on my 3ds)
and when I start my 3ds without pressing start I only see my dsiware games and I don't find my 3ds games or freeshop or themes or anything like that.

I tried formatting my card and paste the files again to it but I still get the godmode9 + when I turn on the device it cannot read my card.

The old one was CFW as well and on the latest firmware, but I broke a ribbon cable to the screen attempting to fix a hinge. I don't really remember anyone posting about this before so I'm not sure. No you can't as the games are encrypted to the o3DS.

It looks like you're still using Menuhacks to access HomeBrew/CFW on your older console. Since you're on 9.2 you can just follow that guide you linked from the beginning. Don't use the "A9LH to B9S" section because if you were using ReiNAND than you more than likely were using menuhacks and don't have A9LH (the file "arm9loaderhax.bin" was previously required in menuhacks setups to run ReiNAND/Luma) so that doesn't guarantee you have A9LH.

Anyway, just start here https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(soundhax). Once you're finished you'll be up to date with the latest stuff. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

i just recieved a brand new Ace3DS X Card, but im having trouble with triggering ntrboot. I have followed the "installing-boot9strap-(ntrboot)"-guide from 3ds guide multiple times and still no luck. Now im asking myself if the 3DS-Mode of my flashcard is broken, (The DS-mode works perfectly). Is there a way to test if the 3DS Mode of my flashcard is working correctly?

Im trying it on a 2DS-System (non-foldable) with the 11.5.0-38E FW-Version.

Edit: 16gb (FAT32) mSD is inserted into the flashcard and the card inside the 2DS is also FAT32

If you don't want hard stuff you can buy a Skydock : http://www.sky3dsplus.net/skydock.html
Then you can dump cartridges very easily.

Personally, the last time I ordered a Sky3DS+ card : they put me a free Skydock in the package!

It will have you move your emuNAND to sysNAND.... Basically make a backup f your emuNAND, then when you're done hacking restore it as sysNAND and continue as normal. It's up to you really, if you don't have anything you want to keep on the console and wnt to start "fresh" you don't have to. I would format the SD card though in FAT32 with a program that can wipe the extra partition if you don't want it though, otherwise it's just hogging like 1-2GB of data you could be using elsewhere; not that it's a big deal on cards over 64GB anyway.

What precisely is happening when it fails to trigger? Turns itself off or boots into sleep mode/doesn't turn on at all?

just a noob asking a question here but by any chance does having the 11.6 update not allow you to stream your game? Any time I try to NTRViewer just freezes after awhile it's done this on pokemon ultra moon and reg moon as well on persona and I'm pretty much stumped.

11.6 does not block streaming. As for your issue, it's all router/internet based. Move closer to your router. If you've done that, I have no other advice.
