FIXED! Please fix the pop up ads

When on the mobile Site, pop up ads show up, causing a new tab to open with one of those "congratulations!" B.s. spam things.


Please fix this, mods.

Edit by Costello: we are really sorry about this, we've recently changed ad providers and we specifically instructed them not to use any popup ads, these are the absolute worst. I have filed a complaint and this will be resolved shortly. I will update this thread when I hear from them. If you have a screenshot of the popup ads or URLs of the popup pages this would help, please PM them to me

If the ads are utterly invasive and affect the experience of said site, that's a problem.

Thought it was just me so i run icleaner everyone once in a while but I still get random gibberish links like hgsj58djska85gh8dfo02fn9u9hjf9.xyz that brings me to pages that abuse the 9.3< bug (same vuln used to jailbreak using pangu) on IOS which infects you if you close whatever pop tab comes up and you lock your device @Costello

That's what I consider a defect of most adblockers - it's in practice either all or nothing, at least for a specific domain (for example, I would never want video ads of any kind but don't mind the square box to the right of the video on youtube, on other websites like this one I don't mind ads but want to kill all floating cookie shit or facebook buttons), luckily uMatrix and uBlock in advanced mode are those exceptions - as annoying as they are to set up well!
