Awesome! I'm going to try this out as soon as I get home. I just have two questions:
1) Can you fully use the gamepad with this homebrew? With emulators, etc? Touchscreen, button mappings, etc.?
2) Could you put a vWii emu like Nintentont on the WiiU sd card & run it like in vWii?

Thanks.

I tried modding mk8 using sdcafiine and mocha+fshax downloaded using ur appstore and sdcafiine wasn't working.. I re-downloaded both but nothing... sdcafiine didn't work .. I tried to download mocha and fshax from a tutorial from YouTube and then it worked... wtf by the way I also sometimes have issues with other apps if I download them from app store what do u think is wrong? (I'm using lan adaptor)

Thanks!

How well do the emus work? Several of the ones on vWii were very good. NES, SNES, & Genesis in particular. Still a work in progress? Or can I basically just install and play for hours?
RetroArch works quite great, it's software accellerated but that's fine for most of the systems

Clicking get is the download option

Yes. But when I click get the screen changes for about a second and returns to the store screen.
There is no download. Same for reinstall and delete. It just flicks back to the storevscreen.

I reset data in settings but it made no difference.

Something is 100% wrong at your end I just used the appstore to download about 8 different things and then I deleted them all again just to check the store was working fine which it is.

I assumed it was a problem at my end. I just hoped that someone might be able to suggest what might be wrong.

Hi guys,

I've used HBAS to install and update Retroarch Emus/Core, which have worked fine.

HBAS also has an app listing for just 'Retroarch' which I assumed to be the latest version from which you can load cores / content without selecting the emu first. It has installed version 1.5.0 correctly, but when I try to run Retroarch from HBC the screen just dims and the returns back to HBC. Any ideas why this might be happening? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Retroarch but I still get the same results. Not a big deal, I can continue to load each core from HBC in the meantime, I was just looking forward to playing around with playlists / collections in Retroarch. Thanks guys.

retroarch cores are not very maintained , due to the endless changes aliasspider was making , i guess i should consider changing the appstore , im fairly certain though the new retroarch requires additional files that currently the appstore doesnt use... so until we (if ever) release hbas 2.0 then retroarch may be lacking on the appstore :(
quickly checking , it seems the newest version has a "retroarch" folder that is required , so even i added the app to the store you would have to manually add this directory , essentially making it of no use to you to use the store lol...

if i could drag @vgmoose out of his wiiu hiatus maybe we can work on a final version :)

Whenever I load the app store nothing will load. If I hit refresh it crashes and I have no apps in the caches folder. What's going on? It used to work before.

Is probably not of anyone's concern but with the growing popularity of using WII U game pad on vwii homebrew, would be nice to have a wii homebrew section in the app store app since the old homebrew browser on vwii isn't managed or updated anymore. There is ton of outdated emulators and homebrew that even wiibrew website still post updates on. :)

If it is possible to add to the already existing app as well as maybe a channel installer/forwarder for both vwii/wiiu or least just download and unpack the files on the sd card or usb, that all I am asking.
