i have very quick question, after i unbrick a new 3ds to friend of mine with ctrtransfer image i notes that the n3ds was banned from eshop and playing online (i assume this is normal because all peoples ues this image thing)
but is there any way to unbanned the console ?

I made a pretty bad mistake.
I deleted an important system title, because I wanted to get rid of a custom font i installed earlier.
So I deleted 0004009B00014002 (System font). Now my 3ds is obviously not booting anymore. Is there a way to install CIA's via a firm payload? If not I want to install that title manually but I haven't all necessary files.
Can someone be so nice and copy the files from an european 3ds ctrnand\title\0004009b\0014002\all_that_stuff*
For me it was not possible to get all of the necessary files extracted from a cia file. If someone is able to, here is it:

My nand backup got lost on my external harddrive (all data was corrupted, no way to restore partitions or files)...
I don't really want to loose all my games and safes...

Only if you have the files from an unbanned 3ds (from your 3ds, before it got banned).
That should be working! You have to find out which ban do you have got before. Was there a way to mount a nand backup with either a pc or the 3ds? Than you could just do that, grap all necessary files for your ban and replace them with that on your 3ds!
BTW: Can you please copy all files from ctrnand\title\0004009b\0014002\ and give them to me? I really don't want to lose all my data while getting my 3ds to work again.
Edit:
As far as I know, it should be possible to mount a nand backup with godmode9. Then you can just grab your files and throw them to your 3ds's nand.

I lost you here... What are talking about? the n3ds wasn't banned before it was just bricked and I don't have the original NAND backup for it. I have just backup for other cansole 2ds that's all.

While starting up your 3ds press and hold the start button.
Select Godmode9 and start it. In Godmode9 go to your SD Card and there to your nand backup.
Press A on it and then press A again for nand image options.
Then press A again to mount that image to drive and hit A again to go into the mounted image.
From there on go into the "rw" folder and copy the "sys" folder into the ctr nand\rw
And just do the same with this file
nand.bin\data\<your unique id>\sysdata\00010038\00000000 copy to ctrnand\data\<your unique id>\sysdata\00010038\
And while coping that data, could you also do me a little favor and also copy the folder \title\0004009b\0014002\ from either your ctr nand or you backup to your sd card and send it to me? (pack as zip file and upload it here)

I have actually a european versions 2DS (firmware 9.2) which boots on homebrew channel (version 1.1.0) and than i manually boots on Luma3DS (dont know the version) to play japanese and us games. I would like to "copy" luma3ds on the 2DS sysnand (if i'm correct) so i can directly boot on my custom firmware to play the games. And update luma3ds then. Where do I start from there ?

Sounds like you're using menuhax. Your system is not technically hacked, you'll need to uninstall menuhax then follow the guide from the beginning. Boot the system with the SD card out then put it in when the home menu shows. Change your theme. Then follow https://3ds.guide from the beginning.
Hello! I recently had my 3ds stolen so I went to get a new one... and got the n2DS not realizing it was 11.4. So, I'm going to get a flashcart to hack it, but which one would be better out of these two? Would either work? Which would people recommend?
This R4i Gold 3DS Plus, or the R4i-B9S? The B9S is cheaper and seems to come pre-loaded with ntrboothax, but the other one has an on/off switch or something..? Sorry, I'm not too good at this aa.

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask what I think is a really obvious noob question.
When I had a DS lite I had an R4 to play .nds files and it all went smooth. Then I gave away the DS lite and got a 2DS instead, on which the card I had doesn't work. I never bothered looking for another card at the time, but now I think I might get one, mainly to play a fan-translated Japanese game I couldn't play on the console otherwise. My point is, I tried to do some research online and with the 3DS family getting a card and making it work seems like a very complicated endeavor. I have a 2DS system version 11.6.0-39E, how can I understand which cards work with my system, and what should I do when the system is updated further? Also, if I understood correctly, it's not a 100% straightforward task to make 3DS roms work on the card, what format do you need to play those? And should you do any extra work to make them run?
Sorry if these questions sound stupid but I'm really not familiar with these procedures. The only involvement I ever had with them was with my previous card which was a gift and simply putting the files on was all I ever had to do to run games on that one.
For example, below there is the thread of this Stargate 3DS, it sure does look convenient. Just plug and play, no hacking required. Expensive, but if I really had to do nothing else it would be worth it. But would it work "forever" or is there work required on your part?

It's up to you. The R4i Gold will need flashing, the R4i-B9S will not. Most people recommend the R4i Gold as a DS flashcart, not sure how good the R4i-B9S is at that. Ultimately just buy whichever is cheapest (from a reliable source like nds-card.com).
What about buying from 3ds-flashcard com? It has the same product but with shipping, it's $20 cheaper.
Is 3ds-flashcard com a trustworthy site?
