Noob Question : if i played the leaked version before the release (with wifi off) do i need to do anything special before going back online ? (like updating or anything)
i don't want to get banned , and I've seen people talking about the leaked game being in version 0 so Nintendo can ban you and all sort of stuff. do i need to install another cia ?

The game released today and the key is on the dedicated site. Just scan the QR with FBI. No need to wait for freeShop.

Also, I have to say that I love the art style of this game. It's beautiful, and makes me think of Super Mario RPG. I just hate that it's a remake because it makes Nintendo seem like they've exhausted good ideas. Whatever, this satiates my nostalgic needs.

While the GBA version is a bit dated by now, its still freaking great. Worth playing.

The graphics improvement isn't a huge step up since its still a 2d 3ds game the gba ones art style looks better also.

I still prefer the original art. So much more personality in the GBA version. Compare the font alone and you'll see what I mean.
The original title had a unique look and feel about it, like watching a really great cartoon series.
The remake, while it plays fine and has decent particle effects, feels like it lost most of the thing that made the original so special.
It's just a very sterile remake.

All in all a solid port, but it felt too easy compared to the older one. I remember getting stuck during Chucklissa when I was younger, and recently when I went back to play original, I had trouble with the Hoohooros mini-game. The remixes seem a little less inspired too, what with Cackletta's battle theme not even including the accordion of the hook, and instead replaced with a MIDI guitar. What I do like is the Dream Team artstyle and detail breathing new life into it, and the new "Super" Bros. Moves, which allow you to practice them without feeling obligated to challenge yourself to get Excellents 10 times in a row--ESPECIALLY if you have to use the gyroscope for anything.

The person who leaked Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions forgot to remove the unique header in the game. The person probably thought converting it to .cia would remove the header, but no, it doesn't, it just imports the EXEFS, ROMFS and other binaries into the CTR Installable Achive. Because of this, the person is on a set path to getting a huge fine and removal from ever receiving review copies again. Nintendo is not stupid enough to not look at the unique headers and find out which review copy it was and which person it was given to.

Remember, if you're leaking a game, always blank out the unique header. Like changing a game card header to avoid a ban. ALWAYS! And for leaking SDKs and official developer software, always remove your Nintendo Developer's Licence from the SDK to avoid being investigated.

Um, no. It was actually a review copy, since it leaked a week before it's release. I'm pretty sure.

Review copies are identical to the retail ones anyways.

well not the right game to talk about but... i played FE:W leaked 2 days early (europe) and not been banned... but if this happens to pokemon ultra sun and ultra moon you better not play that at all (until it comes out)
