What about if you're trying to switch to Taiwan for example? Using common sense, the wording plus the fact that picking a random region can't be right if you are trying to swap to a particular one, means it really really sounds like you're supposed to pick your current region.

It's not just confusing, it's also wrong.

But that's not a region listed in the section anyway..... And I said, it seems like it's copy pasted from the CTRNAND page so I don't think it's specific to the region change. Where it says" If you're not sure, pick one for your device" I'm pretty sure that wasn't even meant to be in that page because like you said that wouldn't make any sense.

My common sense tell me, if you're trying to switch regions you wouldn't be choosing the one you're already on. No where in the region changing guide does it ask to perform a CTRNAND transfer twice... So how is it not common sense to know to choose the one you're trying to switch to?

Me too, but we also tell people to follow the guide exactly, and the wording (plus common sense with the Taiwan example) means it has to be telling you to pick the one you already have. Otherwise people would have to assume the guide is wrong and do something different to what it says. In any case hopefully it will be a moot point soon, I made an issue about it.

So if your console is TWN and you're trying to switch to USA - Common sense which one to pick.

If your console is USA and you want to switch to TWN - You can't because the image isn't available for region change yet.

Nowhere did it say you can't change to Taiwan. So how would people know they can't? Remember to think from the perspective of someone who doesn't know very much and doesn't have your experience.

Because there is no CTRNAND image listed? I mean they should use their brain a little....

Then there are two pieces of information in conflict, a contradiction. Asking a noob to be able to work out which one is wrong and which one is right (especially when we bang on about not deviating from the instructions) is asking a little much.

Are you on a old 3DS that was region-changed? If so, you need to format your console for extended memory mode games to work again.

Strange question probably.

I collect event pokemon and i like to keep them in dexnumber orders. However everytime i add a new event i have to move every single box X1 X2 forward which is a bit annoying. Is there a program/tool/anything that makes this less tedious?

Yep, 9.0-11.3 can use Soundhax, which just requires files on your SD card and the Ninendo 3DS Sound app on your system. This is the preferred method, because you don't have to buy any external hardware such as necessary flashcard.

Me too, I only played for a few minutes before giving up with it. Feels totally unnatural playing a 2D side scroller with the circle pad!

You should try getting a system with a higher firmware to avoid having to buy external hardware, another system, or getting a hardmod.
