Hacking New (old) 2ds firmware still under 11.4?

Only New 2DS XL come with 11.4. If you buy refurb, You have a high chance of coming with a new firmware

Take it from someone who owns one, it's not wobbly (I'm assuming you mean the side to side wobbliness of the N3DSXL where some of the hinge is exposed).

You should play 999 first though (a DS game) then pay Virtue's Last Reward, then Zero Time Dilemma.

They are my favourite games ever now, beating Zelda Ocarina of Time even taking into account the nostalgia factor. And beating Portal, Banjo-Kazooie, and Beyond Good and Evil.

It wobbles with about a half inch of travel when it's in a locked position - like all hinged 3ds's. It doesn't flop all the way down or up unless you suddenly jerk it hard.

This all-too-common complaint some people make drives me crazy. Do you all have Parkinson's Disease or something? Or are you guys making love to a light socket while gaming?

Not to mention that it makes sense as to why the hinge wobbles like that, try lying down on your bed with your belly up, playing your 3DS.
This is where the wobbly screen comes in handy as well.

Wow has the process gotten dead simple and quick (done 5 previous 3ds' years ago with the last being when the Mario Black Friday new 3ds was released)

They have wobbly loose hinges instead, even the newest one. Was looking forward to getting N2DSXL, but now won't bother. The original O3DS was good, but still wasn't as nice as the DS lite hinge

The hinges are meant to fit "loosely" to avoid cracking the chassis when it's open/closed a lot. Trust me, if they were as tight as you want them they would break pretty often from regular use. Ever notice how the top screen wiggles ever so slightly? Yeah, it's on purpose so it doesn't break; not so it will be loose enough to fall off Lol.

It's not but ok, you made a statement and I made an observation based on your statement I didn't assume an argument. Learn to accept an opinion other than your own when you can google "why" the hinges are loose. You'll get the same reasoning. You seem awfully offended by a general comment for some reason. I don't understand why you took me saying that the hinges are supposed to be loose as a personal attack. You've got issues dude.
