My brother stupidly threw my jacket (with my new 3ds xl in it) onto our coat rack and it fell off. Now whenever I boot my
new 3ds xl I get
An error occurred (ErrDisp)

Error type: generic
Process ID: 25
Process name: qtm
Error Code: 0xf96183fe

or something like that.
I can hold start to boot godmode9 but even removing the SD card gives me the same error a bit after loading the home menu. What happened and is there anything I can do to fix it??

Nevermind I guess after doing a nand backup in godmode9, my 3ds is now working again. :wtf:

I'm assuming you mean a NAND restore, not a NAND backup, yes?

It should be noted that your crash was apparently being caused by the QTM services, which is the system module in charge of handling head tracking. I'm just brainstorming here, but it could be that whatever hardware damage happened to the 3DS caused the QTM to malfunction, affecting the QTM settings. By restoring a NAND backup, the QTM settings were restored, and the damage to the hardware wasn't anything permanent. Again, I'm just guessing what might have happened. I couldn't possibly know for sure.

No. I did a nand backup, not a nand restore. No clue what happened or why.
