Nintendo Switch Firmware 3.0 Hacks Made Public

C7CkHQdXEAMQKe1.jpg

Team Reswitched has made their webkit exploit toolkit known as PegaSwitch available to the public! The newest version now supports up to firmware version 3.0, and comes with an Open Sourced SDK known as libtransistor so homebrew developers can get started on the console. They -even- released a Switch Homebrew emulator (they made it clear it will not emulate games) so you can debug and test homebrew without having to use the Switch every time!

With Switch homebrew still in it's infancy, don't expect anything crazy for a while still... but what an exciting time for the community!

NO, the lower the better. you don't wanna open it and "software update required" cause places like target and Walmart actually care about not having money
I get the lower the better, my question is, should I go out and get a 3.0 (or less) Switch, or is there a good possibility that 3.0+ will be hacked soon?

I say go less, cause right now, (obviously) only 3.0- has been actively released, so going higher is a bit of an unnecessary gamble

I somehow didn't see this when I first woke up this morning.
It's a nice thing to wake up from a nap to though! Now, I just need a Switch....

Also I had to wait an hour and a half to post this lmao

Just a heads' up, Walmart doesn't open their switches and update them, lol.
And even if they get one as a return, they don't go and update it lol.

What's the issue with Target? Seems like people dislike them. I've bought 2 switches from them in the past month and both were 3.0.

The Problem is bascially, new Games have Crypto which take a long time to fixed, we not have access for Backups and Homebrew Emulators, can used on PCs or other stuff.

I was absolute hyped as I read about PegaSwitch, ordered a Nintendo, then I through: Hey, there are no Games Coming 2018, only Odysee this month. Pokemon is 2019 and yeah... rest is Multi-Platform and 99% of you guys have a PC so...: :D

Meh, look at the Wii U, so much potential.. what did they used for? Get free games... no File Explorer, no Media Player NO NOTHING.
yeah, I hope exploit loading is not as difficult as it was on Wii U, the most annoying thing was that there was only a chance that the browser exploit would actually work - which put me off making anything for it.
