So Nintendo anounced that they will be banning streams from youtubers tha are registered to the Nintendo creators program. They anounced yesterday that people who are registered to the Nintendo creators program can't stream content anymore on YouTube that is Nintendo related.

Nintendo vs Youtube the after after years?

As ever they probably have the right, though probably not the obligation and as such I am certainly not going to say it is a good idea.

Well, that's a good decision to me.
But yesterday I just downloaded NES, SNES and GBA Emulators to upload my stupid videos.
Does anyone knows how to be a "partner"?
Why not make content that does not fall under their remit? Reviews/criticism, satire and education are all exempt. Harder to do as a stream if you did want to go there but not impossible either.

Does that will include GDQ? I think that would be a really bad and stupid move. Those events generate a lot of exposure for their games, which one could consider as free publicity, even more so considering Nintendo's new retro consoles

How is that a good decision that Nintendo bans all live streams on YouTube that are Nintendo games ?

I could see how story-driven games would get crushed and they're probably still salty over that time all the Brawl videos got uploaded. I can also see how Nintendo can use this to screw people with youtube's "Appease the master"-policy.

Well they're shitting all over fair use but nobody has enough money to combat them in court.

As much as I don't like ReviewTechUSA, he made a good point about streaming a game and streaming a game with your commentary. When you add commentary, you can give others an idea about what you're streaming, but just uploading a stream of you playing is a different matter.

I'm still leaning on Nintendo doing this with a hidden agenda.
