I have CBHC installed and my WiiU just updated to 5.5.2. Am I screwed?
Nope. In fact, because you have CBHC installed, you still have access to everything you had before. All 5.5.2 fixed is the browser exploit. So as long as you already have Haxchi/CBHC installed, you're fine.

I'm worried I might have messed up.

After successfully setting up haxchi/cbhc to autoboot emunand I left my console for a lomg time.
I just realized I formatted the SD card used for my WiiU. What files do i need to put on to let me enter the menu for autobooting?

I'm scared to turn it on with the blank SD.

there's no reason to be scared. the worst that could happen is a - error. your sd card needs redNAND on it obviously and possibly mocha/fw.img depending on how u were booting into it.

I remember having mocha loading screen.
I suppose if I put the Mocha files on the SD card I will also be able to enter the boot menu? I remember being able to hold a button and get the option of booting rednand, sysnand and possibly others.

Do i need any cbhc/haxchi files for mocha to boot? And I need to enter sysnand to make a new rednand I guess.

yes. the button press is the home button when it says autobooting. mocha will create a new redNAND. however, redNAND is probably still on the card. it won't get formatted unless u "clean" the drive.

Hey all.

I have a wiiU thats on 5.5.1 and I am following this guide... I've used it on the past with another wiiU of mine.
https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki

Because I am still on 5.5.1 and I do not want to upgrade to 5.5.2, how will I be able to dl Brain Age from the eshop w/o upgrading my console?

Thanks all

Do I need to use nnu patcher to do this?

Thanks again.
Oh no. Rednand is gone. I whiped the card entirely.
Will take a look at this when I get the time.

I installed CHBC but was wondering if there is a way to make it autoboot when you turn on the Wii U. Let me explain.

I have 2 loaders that I use on the main Wii U menu (retroarch and Nintendont) but they seem to always go into a system error code once I try to access them right off the bat. So I usually have to start up my Wii U, go into CHBC (autoboots back to system menu) and THEN I can succesfully start my loaders.

Is there a way to just access these custom main menu loaders from the start without the need to go into CHBC/Haxchi? Am I missing something?

Thanks

I have Haxchi installed successfully on a game right now. I want to switch it to a different compatible VC DS game. My plan is to install Haxchi onto that different game, then delete the original Haxchi install so that I can redownload the VC title. Will I encounter any complications having two Haxchi installs on my system at once?

I don't know but I don't think you should have any troubles. It should be pretty safe, although I haven't tried it. Worst thing I can think of is a bootloop, of which one Haxchi triggers the other. but I don't think it should happen.
