cart is fine. u can still extract extdata from sd card in jksv. my jpn copy is physical, usa is digital,

I forgot you can use cart for JKSM although he still need to have a homebrew otherwise he wont be able to use JKSM considering he doesnt have gateway / sky / luma

you dont need to buy it from eshop, depending on what version your 3ds is you might be able to use it, you might want to give this a read after checking what version you have on your 3ds, you can do so by checking the system settings
although if you really need help, I suggest you look around on the forum instead of typing it on this post where it's suppose to be about MH Stories lol

I will be using the freakyhax entrance. Probably the cheapest right now, cause there is no free entrance for 11.5

im backing up my mhs jp save file trying to transfer to mhs US but when i successfully import my JP save file using JKSM and try to play mhs US he keeps saying my Save data is corrupted trying to restored .... but noting... is there a way to Make my JP save MHS turn in to MHS US save file?

well correct me if Im wrong but since the RPwnG exploit is gone, there is no "free" way anymore to get homebrew on your 3ds with 11.5 firmware

Not yet they are not compatible. The file size differs by ~50KB. The best thing you can do is to transfer all the monsters,eggs, stuff but not the progress.

Another question: if I import your elite four, do I need to have my "binding stone" set so a specific level or doesn't it matter which level it is ?

1. Change UID.
2. Reset level and exp to 1 if you don't want the game to be 100% boring.
3. modify the party to include the new monsters if your stone level is not high enough.

you can bc jp has a different save structure, you can transfer from EUR to US, but thats about it.

Generally good genes for silver is:
My silver Rath:
Seregios Gene; Fire Scale; Dinovaldo Gene
Tenacity Gene; Silver Rath; Power Gene L
Evasion Gene L; Dragon Arua; Goukami Gene

It's optimized based on discussions online.

It has Fire Atk up, Power Atk Up, Technical Atk Up, Max HP UP and Speed Up Bingo. Dinovaldo and Goukami Genes are not transferable. You have to use the save editor to get them.

Silver rathalos:
- power bingo
- technique bingo
- Speed bingo
- random bingo
- fire bingo

skill:
- hyper dispersing flame breat (silver gene)
- healing Song (qurupeco gene)
- attack +3
- power attack +3
- critical eye +3
- evasion +3
- all element res +3
- burn rate +3
- burn extension +3

Gold rathian:
- power bingo
- technique bingo
- Speed bingo
- random bingo
- fire bingo

Skill:
- dispersing flame breath (Gold gene)
- healing Song (qurupeco gene)
- attack +3
- Speed attack +3
- elemental attack +3
- all element res +3
- status rate +3
- poison rate +3
- poison extension +3

I was not able to reproduce. Make sure your import and export procedures are correct. What did you import? Just game0 save or all things?

I had just altered and replaced the game0save then imported using JKSM, however after importing (as I've mentioned) MHST just couldn't recognise my sd card.

there is game0_bk.sav you need to male a copy of game0 and replace that too
