Hacking Adrenaline v6 (Adrenaline VPK) is released

I'm unsure what's wrong. I installed adrenaline 6 on my vita several days ago and on my pstv yesterday. after adding that second plugin line, the issue went away. I've since tested both systems a few times, and the issue hasn't crept back. it could be a bug I suppose depending on the system. I'm sure you're not the only person to have this issue after having done everything right.

ah ok ok. No problem, the releaser probably will fix it in a new release, it isn'a big problem
At this point, I can delete your config file and use mine again? Or I can use your config file?

I already had some games and PSP clones on my memory card and when I installed Adrenaline v6, it crashed when I tried loading the games. Afterwards, every time I launch the Adrenaline VPK, it would stay on a black screen for a long time then throw up an error.

ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx

in my config in ux0 tail but doesnt work. What am I doing wrong ?
Also, I use "ePSP bubble installer" and ""adrenaline bubble manager" but when I launch the game, I'm back to the vita menu (like if I push the home buton). What can I do ?

that line goes under ^KERNEL in the config.txt. u don't have to write *KERNEL again.

psp filer. u have to alter the time stamps (time created one iirc) of the games. not difficult, but it's time-consuming.

yes, there's an app for windows for the psp that can sort the memory stick in one go, but it doesn't work with the vita unfortunately. I alphabetized mine, but ark and vhbl r still at the top of my list sine I didn't change their time stamps. it can get confusing working with the ISO and the game folder together if u have a lot of games in each.

I didnt put the KERNEL again. So its not that.
EDIT : what. Now it work, just like that. I didn't understand but It's ok.

Well, I certainly will have a lot of games eventually. I plan to use my 200GB microSD just for Vita stuff, and my 64GB Sony memory card for rom sets, PS1 and PSP stuff. So yeah, as many games as I can fit on there.

It sounds like the best thing to do is to get all the games I want first, then mess with the timestamps later.

Well, I certainly will have a lot of games eventually. I plan to use my 200GB microSD just for Vita stuff, and my 64GB Sony memory card for rom sets, PS1 and PSP stuff. So yeah, as many games as I can fit on there.

It sounds like the best thing to do is to get all the games I want first, then mess with the timestamps later.

You can move all your files wether it's ISO or psone games to a temporary folder structure exactly how it would be on a psp. So you need replicate that on your sd card or USB if using pstv. So you'll temporarily move the ISO folder out of the pspemu folder and stick it on the root of your sd card the same way it would would be for psp. Then insert sd or USB stick into pc use one of the pc side programmes from back in the psp days like homebrew sorter or ISO sorter then you can rearrange them in any order you like. Then move em back inside pspemu

Download the 661 PUP and put it at ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/661.PBP

install the fix by itself. it contains the full adrenaline w/ fix. u need to drop the 661.pbp in that location. the error seems to happen if it errors at downloading the firmware by finding traces of a previous install. then, u have to drop the update in manually. u can also force a manual install, but that's only when it's downloading the update. otherwise, it will think that's what u want to do. btw, u can delete the update after it's installed. I believe I mentioned that in an earlier post as well.

Yes, but if it fails to download it, it won't redownload it

yes, but if it errors, it will think u want to install it manually. u can force a manual install with a button press during that download process.

i just downloaded manually on PC and transferred to my vita to that location,when i opened Adrenaline,it told me it going to download 661.PBP and right now it's downloading it
