It's not up to Nintendo? It's up to the games developers and publishers.
Leaving aside whether Xenoblade was a case of take what you can get (would it have worked on a system with a more saturated like the PS360 was, certainly was not the sort of system seller than Final Fantasy 7 ended up being for the PS1) I would be hesitant to credit it with that much success -- mainly as were there not already things in and slated for Europe? Such a thing was a key part of the push if memory serves. The last influential petition I remember was Operation Rainfall, where Nintendo was petitioned to bring Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower to western markets. That was successful and all three games came westward. Xenoblade Chronicles in particular went on to be a massive success and a key tenet in Nintendo's current first-party line-up. I don't think that would have happened if not for fans petitioning for it.
"our beloved console"
Surely you have to do something to become beloved. Has the Switch actually done anything yet?
Or tried, but then it RROD'd.My 360 saw me a weekend in Amsterdam.
It was the younger member of the family, not to mention have you seen some of the crazy visuals that happen before such things occur?Or tried, but then it RROD'd.
I expect Nintendo to put the effort in first.what do you expect then? Waiting to get it evolved?
Is that going to end up a corollary of 34 then? Or like the "everybody is someone's kid" thing? That said the OP did not say widely beloved so I suppose it plays.
