This looks like a very amazing alternative that I can use instead of CHMM2. I know, I haven't updated to the latest theme managing software yet ^^'

But I will once I download Anemone3DS, well I have but I haven't put it on my 3DS yet. But I will when I get around to it, it looks very amazing and is updated quite often too. I'm sure I will be using Anemone3DS in the future, instead of CHMM2.

Fantastic work, @astronautlevel and everyone else who is also contributing to this project! ^^

I'm not super into custom themes, but I've got Themely installed. What aside from luma splash support, does this have over Themely currently, and what major points of difference will it have in the future?

One undocumented feature I forgot about and am too lazy to fix now because it's 3 AM and I'm tired as hell from working on boot splashes for the past 2 hours: pressing START will quick reboot your 3DS.
Too lazy to copy it here, see the Github.
I figured people would know what it meant and thought it looked cool.
I'm seeing a strong pattern here :P

I hope you weren't too lazy to get permission from the Anenome Team to use their name, and therefore the inference that you're associated with them :teach:

Mostly custom splash support, though I'm pretty happy with how it turned out (full support for info.smdh, QR scanning, etc.). To be honest, I never used custom splashes before I made this because I'm lazy and couldn't be assed to pull out my SD card :P. I'm planning on some things in the future, such as select 10 random themes to shuffle, badges support, and themeplaza.eu integration, which should hopefully let it stand out more.

Well, there's a reason that in NH I'm jokingly known as a lazy dev

Funny story, coolstar actually responded to my reddit post:

And then followed me on twitter. So that was pretty neat.

Anime girls are too cute, I can't decide on just one

Spoken like a true 3DS theme user!

On a more serious note, thank you so much for making this. I only plan on using it now and again on my userland machine (on OFW 10.1) but I can report that is works great - certainly runs better and feels 'cleaner' than CHMM2 and Themely which I disliked using to the point of going back to Menuhax 2.2 for theme installation.

On a broader note I think great community focused projects like this are the heart and soul of a healthy scene. Big up!

I see we can install the BGM from other themes, but is there an option to remove a BGM? I have a few themes I like but their BGM sucks, so I would remove it with a file manager. Maybe an option to install without BGM?

Also, it would look a little nicer if you used the animated Homebrew slash screen made by PabloMK7: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-default-homebrew-custom-logo-bin.457611/

This is definitely a planned feature, I just need to remember to actually do it.

As far as I know, this was created with Nintendo SDK tools (@PabloMK7 correct me if I'm wrong here), and I'm not including anything made with the SDK, mostly as a ethical thing or whatever. I realize this is more of a quirk of me than anything else, but I stand by it.

How about 3DSThem.es integration to go along with it? (If you can get Erman to hand over the code, that is)
I strongly disagree with hostile exclusionism. I'll work with Corin first to get something working, as Corin has already been super helpful and kind. After that, I'll work with Erman if he's willing to work with me on 3dsthem.es integration.

Fucking weeb
Accurate tbh

- It would be nice if we could delete themes as well.
- When scanning themes or splashes QR Code, you have to be in Themes or Splashes pages or it would be save in the wrong folder. It would be nice if it could sort itself.
- Also some theme picture are cut. Like the right part is on the left and create an ugly cut when scrolled. Don't know if it comes from the ap or the themes themselves.

Otherwise this is great work. Thanks a lot for it.

Can you give an example of a theme? Thanks!

These are both upcoming features :D

This one is a good example. You can see a blurred big wheel on the left side. Well you have to scroll right to see the cart, not left. So the picture is cut and doesn't appear like it should.
But again, I don't know if it because of Anemone or because of the theme maker. It happen to a lot of pictures thought.

this may be a stupid question but what r the requirements for a splash screen, just a folder with the anim file in it? and, do I need to do anything else other than that? I won't have to use bootctr9 nor have to rename the boot.firm of luma, right? I've had some issues with bootctr9 that other people seem to be having with it, so I'd like to get rid of it if possible.

I'll take a look in an hour or two, thanks!

This doesn't support boot animations, just static splashes, sorry.

I have a new 2ds xl, and i got this with homebrew lancher, and the qr code reader dosnt work, i cant scan qr codes.

Unfortunately the QR code reader doesn't seem to work without CFW... I'm trying to find a workaround.

It has to due with the preview.png generated by the theme manager
