@PandaOnSmack / joffnerd's trainer?

The trainer works for me, and I'm also on 5.5.2U (I have CBHC). The trainer has codes for 'weapontype' infinite durability. You can also set a particular item to 6553500 durability.

Still getting the same error message. Comes up as soon as I click connect on tyhe trainer. Only way out of it is a long press on the power button
Heh, good luck getting them to work then. Let me know if you can get the ones to work that failed for me. WOuld be interesting to know if those just generally don't work or just for me.

When I first got Skloolzout1 codes off the paste bin, I created a .txt document for version 1.30, then did the same for 1.31, I named them more or less the same with the exception of "v1 and "v2". Only just noticed that I had been trying to use v1 instead of v2. :(

I figured out which version of tcpgecko.elf I am using for the trainer. Just do as I said before and create a 'tcpgeckobotw' folder in your sd:/wiiu/apps/ folder and place this file in it. Then just run the iconless version from HBL and press A to install it.

So.. I have Paper Mario Color Splash US now.. but it always tells me that my USB Drive could not load the game because it's not getting enough power
But every other game works perfectly (also other regions)
This means I can't test/create codes for the US Version of the game currently. Sorry. :/

Its ok, thanks anyway though. What kind of USB Drive do you have? I have a I think a Western Digital "My Passport" USB HDD drive that is connected to a Y-Cable USB cord. One USB on the Y-cord is for data, other is for power. Both USB ends on Y-cord are plugged into back USB ports on my Wii U. Thing is, I also have a USB HDD for my PS4, but that one does not have the Y-Cord/Cable. I have not had any issues with the PS4 USB HDD. Does anyone know or think I also need a Y-Cord/Cable for my PS4 USB HDD? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

I forgot to mention that Im talking about the Fog Removal codes that you posted

Have you tried to use these codes only or with just one or two other codes (such as Moonjump o Perfect Stealth)?

I had a similar issue on my European WiiU because I was using too many codes at the same time, and there was a conflict somewhere. Then I deactivated most of the codes and activated Reduced Fog/Blurring andRemove Distance Blurring and they worked.

After some more attempts, I've come to the conclusion that there may be a conflict between these codes and the NoClip v2.0 code. Try deactivating this one.

If you send me your full game dump, (10000000 - 4C8A0000) and you're positive that your health address is the correct address (at a glance, it looks like you should be correct) I might be able to adjust most codes to work on German Wii's too. But you're the only person from Germany that has said there are issues. I used a PAL dump from Britain i think? (from PandaOnSmack) in order to test codes to try ensure they work on most versions. But who knows, there could still be differences between British and German games even though they are both PAL. Your game dump can at least let me verify whether it is a problem with the codes or maybe a mistake on your end. Either arent a big deal.

Also the horse whips code only works on horses you own. And its also a code that i wont be able to fix if there is an issue with it without knowing the address of your horse whips, but dont worry about that for now

I'll get the dump uploaded asap, thanks!

I figured out which version of tcpgecko.elf I am using for the trainer. Just do as I said before and create a 'tcpgeckobotw' folder in your sd:/wiiu/apps/ folder and place this file in it. Then just run the iconless version from HBL and press A to install it.

You're my hero right now! That version of the tcpgecko.elf actually works flawlessly with the trainer!

Hello codemasters/hackmasters.

I have a question about Smash 3DS and Wiiu

If I delete all data and update on my devices.
Do you think that I can use powersave cheats to give +200 attack +200 Defence +200 Speed
And send it to Wiiu Smash? Or is this block from Nintendo in system update patch on both devices and not in the game update patch?

I just want to be strong and have max of this on my characters?
I'm not gonna use it online!
I don't think it will work online ether? :)

Then I wonder if someone could to something alike this code from brawl to Smash Wiiu?

Thanks for the tip! But I must say that I dont have any more codes activated. My guess is that the new JGeckoU have changed something, cause now is not working the Trainer for me. I just updated the JGeckoU with the Updater and put all the files in their respective folders.

Im not sure what is different between your tcpgecko.elf and the last one released but it works flawlessly with the 1.3.1 update. Thanks!

So it is an issue with the latest TCPGecko?? Then, I will keep a copy of my current one in a safe place and I won't update this tool!

Yea, for some reason it crashes when you connect the Trainer with the last TCPGecko, (Im not sure if its different, but I updated thought the Updater.jar).
I updated it yesterday cause I wanted to test some codes for the 1.3.1 version, the ones for the Fog Removal, but the last Trainer released, was supposed to work without problems but... for me it crashes immediately. So I recommend you to keep a copy of your last working TCPGecko if the new one doesnt work properly for you.

well i do not know if there are differences/issues with codes on 5.5.2 wii's since im still on 5.5.1 but im like 95% sure that code is perfectly fine. For 5.5.1 at least

Well, I do have a memory dump on a version 5.5.2 Wii U with the recent TCPGecko.
Memory dumping is what i meant. You use the dump tab in jgecko, set the range to 10000000 - 4C8A0000 and let it dump for about 20-30 minutes

It took less time than that to dump, for me anyway. Anywho, I've got the dump so what do I do next? Uploading the file to the web takes longer than that.

The only convenient way for you to send it to me would be to upload it first

If that's the only way it should be done. Oh yeah, complaint's kinda unchanged; trying to use the fast-forward/reverse time code still crashes the game with the TCPGecko I have. It'll take some time, but I'll have the dump to you.

If I could do codes myself I would do it! -_-
But TCP gecko doesn't work on my Wiiu after it did update itself.
Only Haxchi and SDCafiine is working?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
