Yep.
Up until a few months ago, before I asked SciresM about the 'encryption' (which he then proceeded to crack), we had to use specific values to indicate specific amounts of bells. For example, 1 bell could be 0xC31F60A5784C00C5 while 0 bells could be 0x8CC7534A75200BAA. As you can see they had no correlation with each other so without the algorithm that SciresM RE'd, we'd still be at the stage of using specific numbers. That's also why the ntr plugin & save editors never had bell editing and just used specific numbers for the longest time

EDIT: The 'encryption' is used for Money, Turnip prices, Island Medals and MEOW Coupons incase anyone is curious. Basically any ingame currency.

It's quite easy. Once you have the cheat enabled, simply press x + Right (on the D-pad) and the cheat keyboard will pop up. Simply enter the item ID of what you want and it will appear in the first slot of your pockets. PLEASE TAKE CAUTION to not have anything (especially lost items or signature sheets) in the first slot before doing the cheat. Leave the first slot completely empty. I've had to use a previous backup because I accidentally overwrote an item over a lost item, and I couldn't find a way to dispose or get the item out of my pockets at all.

I suggest you don't use any of the codes for trees or outside plants(since they cant normally appear in your pocket anyways). Use the Real Time World Edit for placing trees and stuff outside.

Use the regular version of ACNL (green background Home Menu icon) and download the v1.5 update for the game. Then use JKSM to transfer your save file.

My digital game says it's 1.5, but also "Welcome Amiibo" on the title screen and it's the EU one. Am I safe to use it?
I'm planning on cheating the Amiibo exclusive items, then updating the game because that's all I want to cheat, that should work, right?

If anybody knows about anything else exclusive you could cheat yourself before updating, that information would be nice too.

Look on your Home Menu. If your version of ACNL has a green background with a white leaf icon on it, you are safe to use the plugin. You don't need to update the game because you already have the latest update. v1.5 is the latest.

I know there is another menu that you can access by pressing R+X. That menu has the tan modifier in it, as well as other cheats.

You have the latest update of the plugin running on ntr 3.6, and you press both buttons at the same time? Oh try Holding R+X
