Geez at least there is a quest marker, i wish they throw away the shieka sensor for just a dot on the map to find items, is annoying how it beeps and how it works all together. :glare:

Imagine if the quest marker didn't exist and you had to use that dumb BEEP BEEP BEEP for sensing your next location. It would drive you insane.

Use the shield and then press A at the right time? I've tried. And failed. Multiple times.
soon as you see the flash hit it. make sure your about 2 or 3 backflips away from him

shieka sensor
I don't even use it to be honest. I just use it as a hint. Like "Oh, there's a shrine, i'll just pan my camera around and see if there's anything in sight." But that's rare. Most of times i just ignore it.
OR it beeps when i'm already on my way to the shrine it's pointing at. And i get pissed off. (not really)

There's sadly games just like that. and a repeating soundtrack ontop of that? Man, i'd be so damn frustrated.

another easier way is get some guardians weapons from shrines, stun the prick with an arrow than run up and cut his legs off. guardian weapons do extra dmg to them so does MS. once all his legs are off finish him with arrows to the eye. you'll also get more drops doing this way

I prefer the method of running away like a chicken with it's head cut off but you've got a point.

Is not the beeping, is the way it functions that is dumb, is insane.

First you turn on the thing but that isn't enough, next you tell it what to target. Now you have to be close enough the object to hear the alarm, and then the only time it beeps is when you are walking in the direction of the target. In other words, if you stand still or climb rocks, you will have problems finding the thing.

It doesn't help that the targets you can apply also move around a lot even when not close and that some are very small like the butterfly, or fish you can't see well in the water cause of the games graphics with how it reflects light and hides such things. It would have been simple to just put a spot on the map to where the stuff is like the quest marker, or do something about how the sensor functions.

How bout depending on where the camera is positioned? At least then it can work with what you can see on screen or something. :wtf:
