I've seen that there's a version of Ocarina of Time in the eshop that can be played on the wiiu. How is this version compared to the one on the gamecube Zelda Collector's edition?

if you played the Wii Virtual console version is pretty much the same with customizable controllers. And Waaaay better than the gamecube collectors edition.

Whether you play on the GC Collector's Edition, Wii VC, or Wii U VC, the version of the game is the same (v1.2 GCN/VC). The game has a resolution of 640x480 on all three versions, as opposed to 320x240 on the N64. The only real difference is which controller you want to use.
  • GC Collector's Edition: GameCube controller only
  • Wii VC: Wii Classic Controller or GameCube controller
  • Wii U VC: Gamepad, Pro Controller, or Classic Controller.
As mentioned above, the Wii U version also allows for button customization. It also supports creating save states at any point in the game (instead of relying just on the natural save game feature).

If there's no real difference in graphics or content then I think I'll just stick with the gc version, ty

The main difference is that the collector edition version is in full screen.
VC version is in 4:3 with black bars

If I remember correctly, both the GC Collector's Edition and Wii VC version output in full screen mode, which means you will have to manually change your TV settings to 4:3 (if you're using a widescreen TV) if you want to view it properly. On Wii U VC, it automatically converts it to 4:3 mode with pillarboxing if you're using a widescreen TV. So, it's not much of a difference.

The VC wii and wii u version its waay worse than gc version, gc > 640x480 wii and wii u 320x240 resolution. In gc version you can play it even in vibrate mode controller.

There's conflicting information online about the different resolutions. Some sources say the VC versions output at 320x240, while other sources say the VC versions output at 640x480. I tested the Wii version a long time ago, and if my memory is correct, the latter is true.
