ROM Hack [RELEASE] MHXX Save Editor

Like ukee, I have gotten the unknown item error, but I dont think altering the number of items are a problem, as I know they safely go up to 99. Using latest 0.05a version. I love this, thanks! Can you also add in a button to erase a slot? If it's already there I don't see it. Thanks again!

I just updated it to 0.06, should have a button to clear the slot. You can actually just select the "-----" in the item dropdown list and it'll automatically erase whatever item in that slot was.

Other stuffs that was added are:
- Arena Time/Rank/Weapon editor (may be buggy, since I don't really have the full list of weapon ids for this)
- Monster sizes

Can't you do that in the game? There's no reason to add that feature in the Save Editor, imo.

It should work, hopefully.

Can't you do that in the game? There's no reason to add that feature in the Save Editor, imo.

I think you can't clear a save slot without formatting the whole save slots in the game, another way is to make a new character to save over the slot, which doesn't really help with trying to clear the slot.

I added a delete save slot option that should just delete the save slot of your choice.

You can try this, if it doesn't work then I probably can't help you with running it on a Mac.

With this, you can transmogrify your equipment (armors only, no weapons) to anything.
Works for both hunter and palico.

That's not a valid sharing link. Right click on your save file and get the shareable link.

Thanks for the save file you provided, found a little bug in my editor in handling equip type/level that resulted in invalid equipment.

Should be fixed now and should also work for your save file.
So try it out.

If you're refering to the same one I found then you need to disable the translation patch - it's incompatible.


/edit:

The editor seems to crash on loading a cat that was given Critical Boost (L) via the editor in BBBCC layout.


/edit 2: Critical Boost (L) shouldn't exist in the editor - it's a nonvalid skill, that's why the crash ToT

Yes I named it wrong, sorry about that. It should've been "Crit Boost" instead of Critical Boost (L).

If you still have your previous save file before editing in the Critical Boost (L), then you can try editing in the "Crit Boost" now.
