Hello,

I'm currently looking for a good DS game that requires skill and concentration.

I already have Mario Kart DS and Kingdom Hearts 358/ < (don't know the exact name sorry)

I find both very good, and I want another one.

Also I don't want a "RPG" game like Pokemon, I mean I want to play in live and having to react fast . That's why MKDS and KH was good for this. I don't want a Shoot em Up though

Thanks in advance ;)

@Seraviv you need to play The World Ends With You. It is an excellent action RPG from Square Enix. The battle system relies exclusively on the stylus.

Try bomberman 2, honestly this game wasn't released in North american NTSC region, so is only jap and pal version. I played this and was upset this game wasn't sold in USA. Is good. Is a bomberman game with tons of customizable options for bomberman to do which is kinda like playing a traditional game with various upgrades. :)

Here are some more suggestions: Metroid Prime Hunters (it will kill your shoulder buttons so beware), Final Fantasy IV, and Chrono Trigger. The last two are ports, but well worth a replay even if you have played them before.

To serve the request better: Try Super Mario 64 for DS. Needs skill, is quite beautiful and has a rather long playtime. :nds:

Did anyone read the first post? He said "Does not want rpg games" Meaning turn based JRPG style. Why are people listing them?

OP said no RPGs like Pokemon. Notice he plays Kingdom Hearts. Chrono Trigger I feel is fair game. You don't need to fight anyone except bosses. Final Fantasy IV is more like Pokemon, turn based. But the story is well worth it.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Sorry didnt read that part
