The Sing trait is useless, Characters and Classes share the same exact traits, some only work on Classes (like Sing in this case), and some only work on characters.
Corrin has to be in a class that can S rank a weapon. FEFTwiddler is a save editor, not a rom editor, so it cannot change what rank a class can have.Hey so i was wondering is there a way for me to use the editor to s rank all of my weapon proficiency for corrin i put all my stats to 251 but when i join the game and check its still the same like my sword its still a and wont go to s any fix? Also is there a way for me to move all over the map?
You have to save your file after making your changes as FEFTwiddler does not autosave. Open save file -> Make changes -> Save save file, override original (but keep a backup of original) -> Import saveHello! So I have been trying to use this save editor for the past week and a half now and can't for the life of me figure out how to properly use it. Whenever I make edits, save them, and then import the edited save file, I load up the save and none of my changes seem to have saved. It's like I didn't do anything. I was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step guide on how to properly save my changes, it would be immensely appreciated!
Thank you so much, I will certainly have to try that next time! You have to save your file after making your changes as FEFTwiddler does not autosave. Open save file -> Make changes -> Save save file, override original (but keep a backup of original) -> Import save
Alright, so I tried doing that and my changes still don't show up. I open and make changes, save my changes, import the save file, then load up the game and it's like I never made any changes to it. Okay, so I have done everything up to the point where now I have a backup of the original save and the updated save in the same folder. "CHAPTER0" and "CHAPTER0 backup", where do I go from here? Do I have to rename the new file something else?
You just need the updated save file in the folder. Move the backup/original file to a different folder then try again.Okay, so I have done everything up to the point where now I have a backup of the original save and the updated save in the same folder. Even after moving the file, the changes still don't show up. I remember using this editor fine before, but it's been a while since I've used it and it shows! Would you have any other ideas as to how to fix this problem? You just need the updated save file in the folder. Move the backup/original file to a different folder then try again.
Okay, walk me through the exact process you use to extract your save file, what you use to extract it, what files you get from extracting your save file, and what steps you take to import your save file.Even after moving the file, the changes still don't show up. So I open up homebrew, choose "save_manager", I then extract the save files. Once that is done, I exit homebrew, turn the 3DS off and then take the microSD card out. I then put that into the computer, open up the save editor, click "Open File", choose "CHAPTER0", make some edits, click "Save File", then close out of the editor. After that, I delete the backup save that is made after saving the changes because I used Powersaves to back up the save file, leaving just the edited "CHAPTER0" file, no backup of "CHAPTER0" is in the folder. Once that is done, I take the microSD card out, put it back in the 3DS, open up homebrew, choose save_manager, import the save, then exit homebrew. Finally I load Fates up, choose the save file that I made changes to, and then see that none of my changes were applied.Okay, walk me through the exact process you use to extract your save file, what you use to extract it, what files you get from extracting your save file, and what steps you take to import your save file.
Don't use save_manager. Use JKSM instead. Download the JKSM_3DSX.zip file attached to the first post of this thread and extract it. Move the 3ds folder to the root of your SD card. Then use the Homebrew Launcher to use JKSM. I've never had any issues with my save files using JKSM and FEFTwiddler. So I open up homebrew, choose "save_manager", I then extract the save files. So I tried using JKSM and now when I load up the game, the first 3 files are gone and I can no longer access those save files. The first 3 slots are basically blank, unused save slots where my actual saves used to be.Don't use save_manager. Use JKSM instead. I don't know what to tell you. I don't know why things aren't working for you. I'm sorry but I cannot help you any further. I would use save_manager to import your saves as that was working for you previously. So I tried using JKSM and now when I load up the game, the first 3 files are gone and I can no longer access those save files.
