Tell me about, having some serious buyers remorse lol jk
At least I have the system now, locked away from "accidental updates" ;)
Haha it has been the last impulsive purchase I did since the Wii U back in 2013. xD
But same here, I just checked the system, put the screen protector onto the screen, then shoved it up right back to the box and it's now sitting in my closet waiting for the magic to happen. ;)

Good luck trying to get me to update, Nintendo. xD

Yayy my first post lol.
Found yer site while looking for info about this whole "Don't update to 3.0.1" stuff a friend semi screamed at me. XD

Added my data to the G-Sheet.

Serial: XAW400015XXXXX
Region: Canada
Firmware: 2.3.0
Color/Kit: Neon Red/Blue
Store: Walmart Canada-land
Date of Purchase: 2017 August 24th

So course I buy mine and open it up the next day while talking with a friend via discord and they inform me about not letting it update and also about the Splatoon bundle.. both of which I'd not known about so I sulked for just a bit cuz splat bundle would have been nice but only real specialty of the bundle is the Neon Green/Pink Joy-Cons which will probably come eventually as a standalone product someday to NA so not toooo heart broken.

Good news is I didn't update it yet so it's still 2.3.0
That said.. anyway I can play offline/solo mode of my Splatoon? No NNID linked to account yet either..
Please direct me to a proper thread with info on this or PM so not to get to off-topic. :3

The serial number is written on the box ?
or you need to go to the settings to read it?

if it's on the box, or the box has a hole to read the number located on the console, could you post a picture of that serial number location ?
it will help users find it when buying it at a store.

Both.

On the box is written on the bottom side, top-right location (there is a rectangular hole above the nintendo logo):

That's what current users use to choose which to buy

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
