My Wii U is on 5.5.1
I downloaded this elf so it must be the latest version. It was uploaded 1 day ago. https://github.com/BullyWiiPlaza/tcpgecko/blob/master/tcpgecko.elf
I started a new game at the beginning and enabled the infinite stamina code to see if the code worked but it didn't. I don't have java on my PC as required by the Gecko-U-Updater. I manually downloaded TCP Gecko at the link earlier in this post.

Odd. If you want to install Java and JGeckoU, I'll take a look at your memory dump.

I know this is going to be WAY WAY Off Topic but Does anyone know or heard of a Nintendo Repair Shop Where Someone could send a Floor Demo Model Wii U to get Repaired back to Normal Working Condition and the Price. I ask because I finally got my Friend to bring over his Wii U I'm trying to mod for him but It's a POS. I say POS because it's a Gamestop store Demo System from 2 yrs ago where he currently works they where going to just throw it away and he took it never thinking something might have be wrong with it that's why they where throwing it away. @ his store they throw away an old system every-time a new model comes in. I tried messing with it but it just don't do anything but boot Up. I keep getting a Error message on the Tv Screen telling me the Gamepad is not Connect So I tried syncing it Like a Dozen times but it don't work. The Power On/Off button don't turn it on or Off by pressing the Home Button makes it come on and the Charger port don't seem to work either. I plugged my cord into the gamepad from my System to see if it would charge and it doe's not charge either. also there's a few Extra hook ups on the back of the Wii u System I've need seen and by comparing system my 32gb and his 8gb don't have.

Just wondering, since it's a demo unit and it has some time, are you sure the gamepad battery is still good?

Not sure power on and off button don't work. Only by pressing the Home button makes it come on. Trying to find out if anyone knows if a Demo model can be fixed. I would hate to throw it away if it's fixable.

It sounds like it could be a hardware issue. If that is the case, then that's a big problem. A problem that can't be fixed with software.

You said the back I/O ports are different then a normal WiiU? I'm not 100% sure, but maybe it could actually be a WiiU DevKit? That would be awesome, and Console Dev Kits can actually cost a hell of a lot more then normal consoles.

Also, if the problem is just with the gamepad, then you could either try someone else's gamepad on your console to see if that is the problem, or go on eBay or some where to buy a used gamepad.

Your Guess is as good as mine. I would like to get it fixed if Possible but don't know it it can be or where to send it that will not cost me an Arm or Leg to fix. I took a picture of the back of the console with a not so good camera but it's the Best I can do to Show you @ my google drive here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1eYL7zbcccOdEdjQk1QOE5PWlU/view?usp=sharing

Judging from images on Google of Wii U dev kits, yours may just be a dev kit. But I could be wrong.

I'm still doing some research on WiiU dev kits.

UPDATE:

It looks like you have a console that is VERY close to a dev kit.

This is what someone said on another site:

(it's Kiosk console (same) with dev firmware. this console accept all dev disk if you have a dev firmware
it accept update disk if you have a kiosk firmware (for kiosk update or switch to dev mode)
you can't use retail disk.)

You will have to read a few posts down to see what I am talking about.

Another said:

(That one is a CAT-I, 3rd Party Developers can only get it as a loan unit, in case they want to show their games off on a public event, but other than that, it's nothing different from a CAT-R (which is green).

The "codehandle.bin" link doesn't work, and there doesn't seem to be anyplace else to download it (unless I missed it somehow...). Can someone help me with this please?

I don't know if the trainer in the first post is even being maintained anymore - I haven't heard much about it.

Oh so are you saying the Project itself is discontinued? Is no one else picking it up? Or is there maybe some other trainer/way of going about this?

Panda's BOTW trainer is pretty much the standard nowadays.

https://github.com/joffnerd/botw-trainer All the links you need are there. Make sure you download the right version for your game.

Yeah, PandaOnSmack's trainer is the only fully updated trainer for BOTW as far as I'm aware of ant way.

Besides, Panda's trainer has everything you would ever need in a Zelda trainer. And he always updates his trainer when a game update comes out.

Just remember, with every BOTW game update the trainer will break and no longer work. So just give PandaOnSmack a bit of time, and he will update it when he can. Just keep checking his trainer Github Releases page when there is an update out.

@TheTechGenius

What can I do with this now I know what it is. I can't use it . Can I sell it. Where would I sell it. the only thing it would need is the Dev Software and a Replacement Cord for the Gamepad like in the Picture from the links above.

I apologize if this has been covered, but I'm having an issue.
  • BotW ver 1.3.1 on Usb Harddrive
  • DLC ver 2.0
  • Running Mocha CFW
  • Newest version of TCPGecko (via the updater)
  • BOTW Trainer for 1.3.1 (v4.1.6)
  • .NET Framework up to date
  • WiiU 5.5.1
If I forgot to list something helpful, I'm sorry.

The game loads fine. I load into my save. I type my WiiU IP into the trainer. Hit connect. BAM, WiiU crashes into the stack dump shown here.

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, I am fairly new to WiiU Hacks, but I do have experience with modding (Wii, 360, Etc...), I just don't know if I'm overlooking something and it's driving me mad...

EDIT: Just thought I'd mention that I have tried other trainers and can get them to work just fine. So far this is the only one I can't seem to figure out...

Weird. Other than using Haxchi instead of Mocha, that's the same setup I've got.

Give this EXE a try (locally compiled, i.e. NOT official, i.e. don't bother Panda if it doesn't work) just out of curiosity.

You can also try to connect with JGeckoU (also by Bully - requires Java). If it crashes with that, too, then it's probably something wrong with your TCPGecko install.

Thanks for the fast reply.

I tried the version you supplied, and it still crashed, but under the "connect" button it showed my game version, which is slightly better. That never appeared before.

Thanks for trying. I'll screw with it some more and see if I can make magic happen. Maybe I'll break down and get a dsi vc game and try Haxchi...

Don't read too much into that. That's a just a personal addition I've been playing with. :)

Give JGeckoU a shot.
