What they want is their own business. And it wouldn't matter if it was fun. If you like your job, are you greedy for getting a paycheck?
yes i know but them releasing the exploit sounds like a better choice Nintendo games aren't on pc so hacking systems is the only way to mod them which kinda sucks

When you spend hundreds of hours of work to discover one, you can decide what to do with it. It's not fair to call other people greedy, especially when you've never even done anything like it.

don't worry about missing the first exploit the 3ds had a few kernel exploits i don't have a switch yet so im going to miss it doesn't really matter yet though. also no system is perfect there are problay still undiscovered exploits in the 3ds still and the switch and wiiu there are like a billion ways they could try to exploit it so it's not really possible to find every single exploit

i was in the same predicament and just went with the Switch as it is the newer console and thus will be supported more than the Wii U.
But i do intend to pick up a Wii U when it is cheap as hell. Yet that wont be for a long time since retailers over in the UK have the console at £250 which is literally £30 less than the price of the switch.

Just develop your exploit and share it with the community if you're really bothered about some other people selling it instead of sharing it.

Time and effort is put in it, why wouldn't one be able to get some payback from that?

What is really, REALLY wrong is to steal someone's else exploits and sell them. Now, that's something I'm sure many will agree with.

People always ask this question the answer is simple.

Are you willing to play games on the WiiU for a while, or do you want a Switch. If you want a Switch then get one. No point buying a WiiU if you want a Switch.

Simple.

You can apply this to everything in life.

Do I want that Westworld bluray? Well do I want one? No then I wont buy it, yes then I will.

How can anyone else answer that question for you?

I bought a switch and WiiU at the same time. Switch only comes out for MK8 and puyo puyo. I have Splatoon2 but haven't even put it in yet -.-

I've spent a lot more time on the WiiU bevause there's so many great games I missed out on. So I dont mind waiting for the switch library to grow and whatever comes from the exploits.

Well yeah, look at them.

Both the PS3 and Vita exploits came a little later in their lives when there was a big enough install base on the consoles to make the exploits worthwhile. But even in the case of the PS3, it has always struggled for homebrew devs because of the need for ancient 3.55 as a base. The Vita is better placed here as it only needs a decent firmware.

The PS4 scene has never taken off outside of devs due to the need for ancient-and-decrepit 1.76.

It's too early to expect much from the Switch scene.

Never did I say ''all'' are remakes. I said its a remakefest. Which it is. Dont be so butthurt because you keep playing the same games.

You just wrote 2 system sellers basically.
Also...

Mario Kart
Pokken
and.....
Zelda BOTW (technically a remake)
Street Fighter
Lego City Undercover
Puyo Puyo Tetris
Shantae
SineMora
Fast Rmx
Axiom Verge
Minecraft
Rayman Legends
Binding of Isaac
Azure Striker
Mighty gunvolt
Terraria
Steamworld dig
1001 Spikes
Shovel Knight

And these are just from the top of my head.
Most of those are ports, not remakes.

Yea.... Its called multi platform titles. In order for something to be a remake and not a port, they need to change something, like the extra characters and battle stuff in MK8D. Most of what you listed are not remakes. Are you really mad that a Nintendo console is FINALLY starting to get games that every other console does? I'm sure as hell not.

That being said, I agree that the Switch's library is lacking original content still. I expected much more.
