After using Cleanrip for Skyward Sword, I get SOUE01.part0.iso and SOUE01.part1.iso . Are both of these important and/or do i have to join them?

It's over 4GB. Copy those to your computer and join them together then you can use something like Wii Backup Manager to put them on your Wii drive as a split WBFS file.

When the ISO files are converted to WBFS, it will only be one WBFS file since the game itself should be less than 4GB.

If the data is less than 4GB you will get only one file. If it's > 4GB it will make an extra wbf1 file with the remaining data in it. I'm thinking Skyward Sword ends up being less than 4, too.

I'm only gonna be using the iso/WBFS for dolphin. Will I still need to use Wii Backup Manager?

Hi,
does anyone can help me with a following problem?
If I format my USB stick to WBFS everything goes well with games. But when I'm trying to use FAT32 I couldn't make games from the very same USB stick work. All I have is a black screen in USB Loader GX or "Booting wii game, please wait" from CFG usb loader. Any suggestions?

I need help with usb loader gx
I have USB Loader GX (r1262) on my wii and I have a 32 GB Flash Drive that I use for games. I quickly realized that I needed another one for all my games because I was tired of moving backups on and of everytime I wanted to play a different game.
I got a new USB, the exact same kind that worked before, plugged it into my computer, and formatted it to FAT32. I put some games on it and plugged it into my wii in port 0. It loads it until it comes up to Mounting USB to port 1. It doesnt do that with my other USB but it does with the new one. Ive tried running it on IOS 249 and 250 and it still wont load. I dont know what im doing wrong. Ill post a syscheck here:

Hey I just bought a Wii and it has a home brew on it. I have no real need for it and honestly no idea how to use it. I was hoping wipe the home brew off and update back to a normal Wii but I am worried about having my Wii bricked. Is there an easy way to wipe this homebrew off or can I just update and it'll wipe it off for me?

Trying to tinker with a WiiWare .wads. Have extracted the subfiles (.tik, .tmp, .app's, etc) from the .wad, and have managed to open the executable .app file in IDA Pro using PowerPC decompiling but it seems to be missing things. Do I need to change any of the IDA settings to get it to decompile properly? Do I import the other .app files, and in which order?

Most app files are archives. You need something with U8 archive capability.

Hmm. I don't think thats whats happening here.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/U8_archive
First comes a header:

struct U8_archive_header
{
u32 tag; // 0x55AA382D "U.8-"
u32 rootnode_offset; // offset to root_node, always 0x20.
u32 header_size; // size of header from root_node to end of string table.
u32 data_offset; // offset to data -- this is rootnode_offset + header_size, aligned to 0x40.
u8 zeroes[16];
};

None of this is in the .app file. It looks like the attached pic. The first half looks like header data, maybe, but I can't find any documentation on what its all supposed to mean. IDA can't process it either. The second half gets processed as actual PowerPC commands and decompiled.

Here are some links. How to remove Homebrew. Remove softmod from any Wii. They should provide you enough info.
