But a soldering iron lolyou can replace such a connector see https://www.aliexpress.com/item/YX-...0b-402f-9241-fe36d841bbae&transAbTest=ae803_1
doesn't need that much skills.
then you can just give up om your 3ds cause duct tape will not help you out nor wil it fix your connector. But i dont have a soldering iron...
And i really dont want to buy one...
Funfact: It did... I put the flex cable in and put a small piece of tape over it...then you can just give up om your 3ds cause duct tape will not help you out nor wil it fix your connector.
i thought you were looking for repair there is only one way that works.
seems you're joking though so i'm not gonna be able to help you.
and i'm not gonna help you with any other problems if you be this ignorant.
a good enough for this job (about any iron that get's more then 300 degree's celcius is) solder iron goes around for less then 10 bucks you can even get a weller branded version if you'll look for it.
Im fricken 15, I own a soldering iron, get a cheapass weller soldering iron.Funfact: It did... I put the flex cable in and put a small piece of tape over it...
(And no im not joking. Im 15 and have no idea about soldering. And i have no one that could help me with that. Maybe i learn soldering someday but not now.)
i learned soldering when i was 10, so being 15 and still getting no skills?Funfact: It did... I put the flex cable in and put a small piece of tape over it...
(And no im not joking. Im 15 and have no idea about soldering. And i have no one that could help me with that. Maybe i learn soldering someday but not now.)
Its looking like original, nothing broke off... So i dont know why i should worry...i learned soldering when i was 10, so being 15 and still getting no skills?
ahwell
good hearing it's working, but i wouldn't get too comfortable with it working the way you repaired it.
This gray cap broke, and i dont have it anymore...
Can i fix this?
(Thats the analog stick btw)
what a necrobumpconnector looks like a Hirose FH19 0.5mm Pitch 4 Way Right Angle SMT Female FPC Connector
you should be able to find them in ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hirose-FH19-0-5mm-Pitch-4-Way-Right-Angle-SMT-Female-FPC-Connector-ZIF-Bottom-C/113010594966?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
depending of the country you are on, you can get it fixed quite easily, you will need a hot air gun, some flux and tweezers
PLEASEYou don't need to replace the entire connector when the locking piece breaks off you can put it back on or buy a new one
I know but I thought it would be useful for other people finding this because everyone else said to replace the entire connectorPLEASE
look at the date. Stop bumping this thanks.
