You'd best start a new thread for that, honestly. I don't know what you have set up exactly since I've never used Gateway, but there's probably a way for you to get CFW without doing this if everything still works in your setup (able to boot emuNAND). This is mainly targeted towards getting 3dses with 11.4+ official FW, as there are generally other options on older FW that are cheaper/don't require another 3ds with CFW.Apologies if this is a stupid question but I have a 3ds on GW emunand - can I use it to flash the NTRBOOT? Cheers!
Thanks for the link; we will research this.Strange, I'm pretty sure that it's only an ace 3ds clone, witch is updatable...
Some guys did some research on that in the past...
Here it is: https://gbatemp.net/threads/analysis-on-the-gateway-3ds-blue-cart-updateable.357103/
There is even the decryption key for the software kernel...
this site isn't listed on the resellers list on their official sitehttp://3ds-flashcard.com/home/23-wood-r4i-gold-3ds.html
Could I get the flashcard from here instead? Id rather not buy from hong kong. Is this website good?
Link please?this site isn't listed on the resellers list on their official site

@drwhojan Here you go.
Most of the USA sites seem sketchy af. So I'll just buy from nds I suppose
For those 3 flash carts listed, you can install a version of boot9strap to them using CFW. This card can then be used on any 3ds/2ds currently in existence (official FW 11.4+ included). It boots up even before the rest of the NAND even, so it can potentially be used as a tool for unbricking purposes along with installing CFW (straight from bootrom).So what is this exactly and what can you do with it?

For most people, Plailect's guide will be sufficient https://3ds.guide/flashing-ntrboot-(custom-firmware) Also keep in mind this isn't really necessary for installing CFW on systems below 11.4 FW, as 11.3 down potentially has cheaper CFW install options available.
@drwhojan I installed a fresh devkitpro, cloned the repo, cloned firmtool, installed cryptography via python3 -m pip install cryptography, did python3 setup.py install in the firmtool dir and then I ran make in the ntrboot_launcher dir make.
I had problems at first because powershell sucks, so I used cmd instead.
Having this same issue. Anyone been able to get around it?I get the "Supported cartidge not detected" error when I select to dump flash too with my ak2i HW81. My card is working without problems as a regular flashcard and I tried the alternate build @squall14716 posted, tried to fix the contact issues and tested it with both my old and new 3ds. Is there something more I can try to make it work or I should give up and buy a R4i Gold RTS?
Edit: I now see that there is an update coming and that we should wait, but will this update fix the "Supported cartidge not detected" error or it will just fix the other problem with the injection?
